👋 Introduction
Proven to be working on all major video streaming platforms. If it doesn't work for you, it could be a OS related bug. I am using macOS and before I make claims, I thoroughly test it through all major browsers.

🧠 Purpose
Gain power over the video in fullscreen mode. Primarily developed for 34" ultra-wide screens, but powerful for other smaller or larger screens too. I am currently using it on my Macbook Pro 14" to get rid of all black bars (horizontally and vertically), previously I used it on ultra-wide monitor.
🙋♂️ Usage
Relatively easy to use, but powerful at its core. Comes with handful of options within small interface and keyboard shortcuts.
▸ Interface – Popup interface that you usually open by clicking on the extension icon, has built-in shortcut to toggle it for an easy access at your fingertips.
▸ Activity – This option will be enabled by default. To deactivate the features it applies to the video element, toggle the switch.
▸ Mode – Upscale mode will be enabled by default and only one mode can be active at a time.
▸ Scale – It works simultaneously with the active mode and can scale the video up or down. The default value is 1 and it means that no scaling will be applied.
🤞 Claims
It is working on all globally popular video streaming platforms. Including all embeddable videos. It will not work on platforms that have custom video element, which is super rare.

- (2025-05-01) ace mori: This new update has removed the black bars that would be made when I changed the aspect ratio and replaced them with these bar that emulating whatever is the current color shown on the video. Can there be some way for me to have the black bars returned? I'm a pro member so I pay monthly for this service, and I would hate to have to leave it just because one update isn't doing go well.
- (2025-05-01) Josh Sorensen: Absolutely the best video adjustor before the v3.4.1 update screwed it up so it no longer goes into full screen mode for any video on a site that it was clearly working great before. i hope they fix this screwed up bug fast and patch the failure of an update. before this when it was working it was my favorite video extension due to screen scaling being able to "stretch" the video on a 4/3 aspect screen monitor. since it was able to watch the video on the whole screen instead of making the top/bottom of video screen wasted and meaningless due to widescreen.

A video zoom extension that allows you to manually zoom in the exact amount you need instead of just maximizing 100% I have an ultrawide monitor and this is the only extension that has allowed me to properly view letterboxed videos with aspect ratios that fall between the "standard" 16:9 and my 32:9 without zooming so far in the top/bottom get cut off. For others out there with this problem just set this extension to use Normal mode and up the scaling. 1.33 for X and Y worked for me.

- (2024-08-09) Curtis Elvin: Using it occasionally. Quite happy with the built-in functionality and frequent updates. Tested Quality Enhancer feature - to me it gives best effect for UHD series, but for lower resolutions it's so-so.

Newer version is easier. Could be clearer or easier to discover, but still gets 5 stars because the core functionality is solid.
