- I am writing to review the recurrence of a persistent issue regarding video playback on ultrawide monitors. When I watch a video (this usually happens on YouTube, but isn't exclusive to that site), the standard black sidebars are being replaced with these glossy, colored bars that dynamically match the dominant colors of the video content. I have dealt with this problem before. The last time I aired out my discontent on this issue, I was informed in an update that it would be fixed, but the problem has unfortunately returned. I am at the point where I am tired of this artifact, and as a pro subscriber, I must insist that this issue be permanently resolved in an upcoming fix or update. If this problem is successfully fixed, I will be happy to update my view rating accordingly.
