Add Rewind & Fast Forward buttons to videos player in a YouTube site
Enhance your YouTube experience with the Rewind & Fast Forward Chrome extension. This tool adds dedicated buttons to rewinding and fast forwarding the video.
Features:
1. Customizable Time Skips:
Choose the skip duration for each button individually, with up to four customizable buttons.
2. Arrow Key Override:
Decide whether to synchronize arrow keys with the extension buttons' seconds. (Default: No override)
3. Media Key Integration:
Optimize control by mapping the keyboard media keys to mirror the extension buttons' behavior.
How to Access the Options Page:
1. If you've pinned the extension, click the extension icon and then click the "Open the option page" button.
2. If you haven't pinned it, click the Chrome extension icon, and you will have 2 options:
1. Click the three dots near the "YouTube Rewind & Fast Forward Buttons" extension, and select "Options".
2. Click on the extension name, then click on the "Open the option page" button.

It would be great if there was an additional button that would allow to move to the next mark along the timecodes
Exactly what I am looking for and works exactly what I want.
I got crazy because Youtube only allow 5s rewind and forward. With this app I could customize the time frame I need for language studying, and still can use the keyboard arrow to do those task. Many thanks to the developer team I don't know the second option " Should override the keyboard media keys with the above seconds to behave as the arrow keys?" for what, maybe developer should explain it better, but anyway, without this option, it already make me happy a lot
It only appears when it feels like it... Its not there on alot of newly open Youtube video's... So u need to refresh the site to get it to appear... B.$

Actually I was looking for buttons within the youtube, but it only appear once when activated and then they disappear. But they work with arrow buttons which is better. So good
Does exactly what it says it does, and reliably so. Especially love the secondary buttons with custom second amount setting that were recently added. Awesome.
Great extension!
Very useful. Use it often, very handy. Only, sometimes, it doesn't initialize so I have to refresh the page for the buttons to appear. But, I think, that's a problem with Youtube itself, rather than the extension. Maybe introduce a small delay or check did it initialize properly?

Works as expected, and stays out of your way. I wish more apps followed these simple steps. This works so well, it feels like YouTube built this into the player but it takes hero's like Mendy to do their job.

Pretty great! The only thing I wish were different is the size of the buttons. They are bigger than all of the other buttons. It might even be nice to make their size user adjustable.

Neither good nor bad. If you could adjust it to fit your needs then id be all for it. I need a 5 and 20 second adjustment.

It's kind of annoying because when you try to write a comment and use the arrow keys to move the cursor left or right.. It also fastforwards/Rewinds the video. I tried unchecking the two "Should..." options but still doesn't do anything EDIT: No solution/reply was provided since the initial 11.17.2024 review. -1 star = 2/5 stars
You constantly need to toggle it on for it to work.
I don't know why YouTube doesn't natively offer these controls. Use this all the time. Some videos seem to somehow block this extension, but it otherwise works great.

Doesn't allow me to skip commercials. Fk Google and Fk YouTube.
Not as good as the other extension "controls for YouTube" that's no longer be supported. It had a 4 button control. But this one works.
I couldn't live with out this extension. Its so much more convenient when im not focused on the window the video is playing on I can still quickly rewind/fast forward. Saves me the steps of having to focus the window and use my keyboard. Ty!

Why don't the Rewind Button work?
Works great, when it works... which is about 1/3 of the time. I'll open one link and it has the buttons. Open a couple more, no buttons. Open the 4th, and it has the buttons. Completely random as to whether it will work or not. Reloading the page and/or disabling the extension has no effect. Would be 5 stars if it worked more consistently.
