Manipulative, Spammy, and Not Worth It Tried TOTAL WebShield thinking it was free—spoiler alert: it’s not. After the trial ends, it floods you with pop-ups begging for money like a desperate ex. Even worse, uninstalling it was a nightmare. It clings to your system, throws guilt-trip notifications, and makes you feel like you’re abandoning your digital child. I had to dig through settings just to get rid of it. If you value peace of mind and a clean browser, skip this. There are better free tools out there that don’t emotionally blackmail you into upgrading. This app is more drama than protection.

a nice tracker blocker so far
I have been using Total AV for a year. Not being an avid computer user sometimes the extensions and ad ons don't get installed or used as they should. It would be nice to have a tutorial that walks you through all the things you need to install and how they work. Otherwise, have been safe this year, to my knowledge.
I was not pleased with the pop up adds by this security company. They supposedly block unwanted ads but they would not stop popping up ads for their protection until I finally got rid of those pop ups by buying their product. I despise them for doing this to me. The only good thing was they sold it so me at a much more reasonable price of $19 for the year. I just need to remember to cancel it by Sept. 4th, 2026. When I do, I suppose they will drive me crazy again until I buy it again. I will let you know. If they were gracious and thoughtful people, they would never do what they did.

I have this on my cell phone for quite awhile and have had no problems. I love this program. I now have it on my lap top and I feel very safe and will not have to worry about scams and etc. Everyone needs to get this.
I expect good things from this, the installation is not as smooth as it should be. I had to use an extension to Chrome to use the this Total Webshield. Why it cannot be normally loaded on PC?

I have tried quite a few different anti-Virus app's, and they seemed OK but they didn't seem to be as thorough as TOTAL AV, i like this because it really had a few more extension's than the other one's, my only whinge is I thought that a VPN would have been included, But sadly it's NOT, other than that, So far, So Good, Keep it up . for some reason I have been getting charged EVERY MONTH TWICE for TOTAL ADBLOCK, BUT I have NEVER downloaded it & I have NEVER used my Banking Details either, so can someone please STOP DOING IT ? Because I am In The British ARMY & it's annoying me BIG TIME having to talk to my BANK & STOP IT, that is also a reason for my purchase, YOU HAVE MY DETAIL'S, SO get your Finger OUT & Contact ME ! ASAP.
doesn't help with actual viruses, I have 5 bouncing around in this Intel bc there no Chrome compatible (free) Antivirus, antitracker is fine though, over a thousand on YouTube in a few hours

A huge scam. The adblock and webshield extensions come with the Total AV Pro subscription, but they have not worked for me at all. The extensions keep telling me that I need to renew my subscription for it to work, even though I have an active one. You can uninstall and install the subscription a million times, the issue remains. Doesn't do anything to help the issue, but it's still the only help technical support will suggest :) Speaking of technical support, it's a joke. It's not technical support, it's "beat around the bush until this person gives up" support. I mean seriously? At least be a bit more subtle in your tactics, telling me you'll send me a help email only after the chat ends? Weird behavior. Oh but wait, you want to call their number for support? Sure! Call them and select the technical support category, they hang up on you. Call them and select the billing inquiry category, they hang up on you. Call them and select the cancellation category, they hang up on you. Call them and select the subscription renewal category.... THEY PICK UP THE PHONE. I'd laugh if I wasn't so pissed off. Even when they pick up the phone they're no help. My "help" agent literally told me, "Ma'am I understand you want a refund because of the technical issues and I see the screenshots that prove it, but it's only $19.99. Let me explain something to you....blah blah blah." Almost started pulling my hair out on the other line. But you know what I didn't do? Yell at the agent. I mean she's just a woman trying to do her job. You know what the only thing I wanted to do was? Yell at the goddamn agent. Thank god for restraint. Anyway, I'm done angry typing now lol. Don't waste your time and energy on this, I wish I didn't. Hope everyone involved stubs their toe really hard and gets investigated for fraud :)
not easy and still not got what i payed for
TotalAV works GREAT for Mobile device! However service is supposed to go across all other devices such mobile, desktop and/or additional phone. I subscribe to the Total Services and it is confusing selecting and getting TotalAV for my desktop. All else considered Total AV covers it all. Web site access needs to be LESS confusing and acquire and activate service.
I have just activated this site so really don't have an informed response yet. The downloads were super fast and easy! Hope all goes well in the future!
It claims it blocks trackers but it doesn't show them. The permission statement says this extension has access to your camera, location, and all other data. What for? Others don't do that. Use Privacy Badger. It's better and it shows you the blocked content.

I will rapped what Anthony LaRocco because it happened with me also. After paying for a subscription covering three site protections all that is covered are two. I continually get pop-ups from Ad Block saying my subscription has expired. What a bunch of garbage. Don't waste time trying to contact them, it's nonexistent.

I'm suppose to have 3 devices covered. One computer keeps coming up not covered, although it was covered before. The other computer will not activate web shield although my account says I'm suppose to have it. It was covered for a year then I renewed and it was on for about 4 1/2 months now cant get it back. Good Luck trying to get customer service. It is non existent. I paid for the full year, but don't know whether to cancel now or wait till its renewal time. I hate this company. It's very hard to get hold of someone and if you finally persevere and find a way to get to someone they just say try re-installing.. I did try. No help.
