Description from extension meta
Minimal and secure way to add custom CSS per-domain
Image from store
Description from store
Add custom CSS styles on websites.
The extension does not require permissions to access all data on all websites all the time. Once you start editing CSS on a page, you get a permission prompt specific to that domain. Later, if the CSS for a domain is not used, the permission will be dropped.
There is no UI clutter of any kind. The entire extension consists of a big editable area for CSS code for the current domain.

- (2025-02-07) Ryan Hanson: Great extension. Been using for months and have had no issues. Simple and does what you expect. Thanks. One request: possible to get the styles to be applied to an iframe of the same domain? Currently the styles only get applied to the parent window. Using a Javascript extension similar to this one to inject the styles into the iframe.
- (2024-12-10) Jeff Yen: Exactly what an extension like this should be. Simple, local, open source, and works perfectly with no fuss and no login/account or "pro" version needed.
- (2024-12-09) Remco Melis: Works like a charm, super simple. Recommended!
- (2024-11-13) Tuukka Miettinen: Simple and just works, perfect.
- (2024-11-05) Robert Bedell: Absolutely fantastic for handling all the annoying sites that refuse to supply a proper dark mode.
- (2024-09-17) Elena “Neverbalnost” Kogodeeva: Works like charm! If you need some minor fixes in your day to day web apps, it's just what you need.
- (2024-09-12) Greg Perham: I use this on a number of sites to improve their UI as I see fit. In the extension description, can you please explain the character limit? I have a site where the character count is 7581, and I'm not sure what effect that has. Edit: I see now that it does not save changes after 7500 characters. The styles will appear for the current page, but the new edits will not appear on the next page load.
- (2024-09-12) Dave Silva: Super awesome! Extremely easy. Could definitely use a few more basic features, though. The most important being, in my opinion, the ability to specify CSS by portions of a URL, rather than domain. This will be critical to be able to use it to visually differentiate between production and sandboxes that reside on the same domain (like with Marketo). Would love to see that added :)
- (2024-09-11) Nicklas Lyck: Have been using this plenty for the past months, however now all my changes to websites are overwritten (scratched over) and the element inspecter says "Injected stylesheet". This has changed in the past few days. I wonder if it coincides with the September 10 update.
- (2024-09-08) idcluc: Good, but would be nice if they had syntax highlighting and other things that IDEs have (automatically adding }, etc) but I'm just being nitpicky. The only issue I have is that sometimes, the style is added before some of the website's styles so your custom css gets overriden
- (2024-06-18) Emily Stevenson: Quickly becomes indispensable. Hundreds of use cases for small tweaks that deliver big improvements to usability, accessibility, and productivity on websites with suboptimal designs. Just a few examples: 1) Improve readability/accessibility of design schemes by recoloring text/links to higher-contrast colors or adding a high-contrast drop-shadow to create a "glow" effect behind images that blend too much into the background (especially useful for sites not optimized for your browser's native dark mode). 2) Enlarge or add scroll bars to fixed-size containers that inadvertently cut off content intended to be visible (especially useful for users who use their system settings to scale all elements system-wide to something other than 100%, which often breaks overly rigid web designs). 3) Allow a primary content container to expand to fill empty space (especially useful when running an ad blocker on sites where the entire side-rail is reserved for ads, which normally leaves a bunch of unused/wasted space in the side-rail). 4) Optimize the display of dynamic content in SaaS platforms with inconvenient design limitations (e.g. report views generated with non-resizable columns that cut off content, despite ample available screen real estate to widen the column and make all data visible).
- (2024-06-01) M. HONG: Very nice, I use it for many sites. The only issue is the extension icon is hard to see if you have the browser header dark, whereas other extension icons seem to invert colors.

- (2021-11-18) Justcoastin: Doesn't work in current build of Chrome Version 96.0.4664.45 (Official Build) (x86_64) Either the "Grant permission" button does nothing when clicked, or the stylesheet opens but has no effect.

- (2021-10-22) Rene Koch: great plugin, a few minor annoyances: - It takes like 500ms for the styles to be added which causes the site to blink. - The icon doens't work well with dark skins/themes.
