This extension is intended for use on public computers. Sometimes users don't log out of their email, or stayed signed into social media. Then, of course, they close the window. Keep Me Signed Out deletes the cache, meaning that all data from the websites they are signed into is deleted. However, KMSO preserves the history, bookmarks, and download list, so that the admin, or managers, of the computers, can see what the users have been doing.
