Free Video Downloader vous permet de télécharger des vidéos de tous les formats connus : mp4, webm, mpeg, ogg, etc. L'extension vous permet également de télécharger des vidéos HTTP Live Streaming (HLS). La vidéo HLS est enregistrée sur votre ordinateur dans un fichier avec l'extension .ts, que vous pouvez ensuite afficher dans n'importe quel lecteur multimédia. Dans la nouvelle version, l'extension a appris à télécharger des vidéos MPEG-DASH en streaming et à fusionner l'audio et la vidéo en un seul fichier.
L'extension est très simple d'utilisation. Tout d'abord, vous devez ouvrir la page avec la vidéo souhaitée et commencer à la lire. Cliquez ensuite sur l'icône d'extension dans votre navigateur et dans la fenêtre qui apparaît, sélectionnez le fichier vidéo dont vous avez besoin. - (2024-11-13) yourguidefortheday: had been using with no issue for about 3 weeks, when I attempted to download a rather large video, 3 hours long, and over 3 GB in file size, and discovered that every time without fail the extension downloads about 2hrs 10min of the video (a little over 2 GB) and then stops and claims that it is finished. I have tried this with multiple long videos and have the same result. I would like the developer(s) to address this issue, as this is otherwise the best of this kind of extension I have encountered.
