• (2024-04-23) SpamBox: Doesn't work when the site itself has a style for selection color, it doesn't override it, which is the whole point of this type of extension. And I don't see any effort recently to fix it or improve in any way.

• (2021-11-15) Dishi: I've been annoyed with Windows' colors for so long, I'm so happy I've finally found a solution for it! This is so cool and flexible; it fits so well with my themes :). My only suggestion (which isn't as important as the amazing function it does) is to improve the UI.

• (2021-10-18) Alexander Doak: It doesn't actually work in Chrome Version 94.0.4606.81. When I perform a CTRL-F search, the standard orange color is still applied. Only when I hit escape to close the search box do I see the new color. And that color disappears as soon as I click anywhere on screen, which is not what happens when the CTRL-F search box is still open. So this doesn't come close to working as expected.

• (2021-03-12) Sydney: Really neat, the colors were cool, DEFINITLY replaces the common blue your computer always has. However, whenever I close Google Chrome, the color doesn't save. So when I come back, the highlighting is still blue. Only temporarily does the color change. Please fix this problem, as it was really nice except for the "saving" issue.

• (2019-03-27) Rhomis Rhemis: DOES NOT SAVE! I use Raspbian OS many times while programming LINUX, and the Chromium browser highlight is very light grey on white backgrounds. It may be easier for me to make the same "Highlight" AddOn with a save feature just for myself.

It's very annoying that Chrome is refusing to take Window's setting. As it is, I tried using regedit and found it had no effect on Chrome before I found this. Thanks for the extension, Dev!
