Productiwitty reminds you every 15 minutes to stay focussed & put away distractions.
Do you open Reddit/Facebook/Youtube or other time wasting websites for just "2 minutes" and end up wasting hours on them?
Simple reminders go a long way in ensuring that we remain focussed & put away distractions. This extension reminds you every 15 minutes to stay focussed & not get distracted. Turn this on when you are working on something important and turn it off easily with a click on the icon, when you are binging Netflix.
How does this work?
---------------------
When you are working, turn this extension on. It will remind you periodically (default 15 minutes, but can be changed in settings) to stay focussed. This will serve as a reminder to get back to work in case you opened up another tab for just "2 minutes". Why does this work? Because, when you browse reddit/youtube/Facebook, you tend to lose track of time. Hours on these websites feel like mere minutes. When this reminder pops up on your screen, it will remind you that 15 minutes have passed since the last reminder. This might make you feel guilty & help you go back to working instead of wasting more time.
When you are done with work, click the green icon and it will switch off. It will switch to a red icon to indicate that it is no longer on.
Settings
---------
Right click the green/red icon. Go to options & change the default period of notification & message that you want to display.
Permissions
------------
To display the reminder on the webpage, Chrome needs access to the current webpage you are on. Even though the permission requirement is to Read & Change data of sites you visit, this extension never collects or reads any data from you or the websites that you visit. The read & change refers to the popup that is displayed when the reminder is triggered.

- (2020-07-06) Amazing extensions ! Also can you design it in a way to notify if you are too much idle in a single video with no interaction( Includes for learning sites also) and also notify time to indicate for less than 5 mins also. Like 1 min and 2 min. 1) Idle notifier 2) 1 min and 2 min notification.
