Hide posts and block subs on Reddit.com

Image from store Riddit
Description from store Are you tired of visiting Reddit only to see purple links all over the front page? Who reads /r/nosleep anyway? Get rid of unwanted content by clicking on the 'Hide' button next to each post or block an entire subreddit from showing up by clicking 'Block sub'. Install this plugin to clear up the clutter and start consuming fresh content today! With this plugin, you get a link next to each post for hiding, and a button next to each sub for blocking. In addition to stats about how many posts you've hidden, you'll also get a seamless interface at the top of the page that lets you: - Hide all the links on the current page. - Temporarily see the links that have been hidden on the current page. - Unblock all the subs you've blocked. - Reset the extension, making everything become visible again. FAQ: Yes, you can use it while logged out of Reddit (intended usage). No, it does not sync with your phone. No, it does not work with Incognito mode. Yes, you should provide feedback about this extension. No, your hidden links are not tracked. Contributions are welcome! The Riddit source code is currently hosted on github: https://github.com/maximusdominus/riddit Note: up to 200,000 links can be hidden at any time, any additional hidden link will cause the oldest ones to be shown again. This is due to browser memory limitations.

  • (2014-05-12) Johannes Hermann: Not really an improvement to the current reddit site feature. I will give you 5 stars if you can do the following: Place the info about how many links are hidden in the user bar (where you can see your reddits and stuff) and also provide a button/link to "hide all" currently displayed posts.
  • (2013-10-04) Stefan Theard: Awesome ultra responsive way to get rid of links you've already viewed or don't care to view on reddit. I'll use this every day.
  • (2013-09-30) Lane L: awesome lightweight way to hide the crap
  • (2013-09-30) Fletcher LaRue: Nothing can make reddit what it once was... but this app makes the site bearable. Would recommend.
