From any web page just click the extension and you'll be taken to your Learning Diary with several of the fields already filled in. You can optionally select some text on the page before clicking the icon to include this text in the Notes box.

Recently the plugin has been demanding I login every time I click it, even if there is already a tab logged in. I have re-installed the extension without benefit. It used to work fine for me so I understand how it is intended to behave
