With the Zoiper Click2Dial extension, phone numbers on web pages become clickable.
When you click to call a number, the extension will make the call from Zoiper.
New and improved Click2Dial extension!
Now features the following:
Icon has quick option to enable/disable the extension on either entire website or just a page.
Extensions settings:
• Options to hide/show the Zoiper logo & country flag next to phone numbers
• Region select – will help recognize numbers that are shown on web pages without prefix and country code.
• Blacklist – to enable/disable the extension from working on specific website or page of your choice
Additional features:
New option in context menu "Dial with Zoiper": select any text or number in your website or CRM, right click and choose "Dial with Zoiper" and the call will be initiated by Zoiper.

- This extension messes up the data on my calendar. It scans the content of the web page of my calendar and turns phone numbers it finds into active links. However, while doing so it mixes up the data of multiple calendar events. The result is that I now call the wrong people for a given calendar event! - Ich bewerte sonst nie Addons aber dieses hier ist wirklich so grottenschlecht das ich mich dazu gezwungen sehe. Absolut alles, ob Datum, IP Adresse oder sonstige Zahlen werden von diesem Addon als Telefonnummer aufgefasst. Viele Websites werden dadurch absolut unlesbar und das Addon ist demnach komplett nutzlos.

- It works in that it dials a number when you click on it (or highlight, right click for numbers that don't automatically get recognized). What I don't like is that is simply starts calling the number with Zoiper running as a background process. This is fine if you just want to get on with a call without any delay whatsoever, but what if you clicked a number accidentally, and/or want to hang up? To hang up on the call you need to start up Zoiper. I've tried selecting options in the Zoiper settings that make Zoiper, for example, run on top but that doesn't do anything if Zoiper is already minimized or running in the backgound. I'll be happy to be corrected and shown a way around this! Meanwhile, it's a 2-star "disliked it" because it's still pretty rough.

- Mieses Teil. Überhaupt nicht nützlich. Beliebige Nummern werden als Telefonnummern anklickbar. Mein Urteil: Junk, Müll

- I have installed the Zoiper chrome extention on my macbook as of 12/03/2020 and it works fine. Install the Zoiper extention, highlight the phone number right click and "Dial With Zoiper" i didnt need a number with +44 STD for UK.

- Rarely work... Do not recognize (450) 555-5555 ?? Weird.... And detect a lot of international call. No possibility to choose what format i want them to recognize...

- Kann mich den anderen Bewertungen nur anschließen. Es werden alle Zahlenkombinationen als Telefonnummer erkannt. Vor allem bei Webseitenprogrammierung schlecht, da für uns die Zahlen dann nicht mehr richtig lesbar sind. Aktuell sehr schlechte Lösung, wir hoffen auf eine neue Softwareversion wo das Problem dringend gefixt wird. Für uns daher aktuell nicht zu gebrauchen!

- Lieblos gemacht - überall Flaggen, die mir zeigen welche exotischen Telefonnummern ich auf den Seiten sehe. Leider ist nur ab und zu eine wirkliche Telefonnummer drunter - hilft nur sehr bedingt.

- Vollkommen ungeeignet! Jegliche Zahlen (Daten, Preise, x-beliebige Werte in Tabellen, Wasserstände, etc.) werden als Telefonnummern erkannt.

- Extremely limited functionality. The developers seem to assume, that the whole world revolves around the US. Since the commercial (and fairly expensive) desktop app is marketed world wide and Zoiper Click2Dial is an advertised feature, I expected better performance from this extension. If it recognizes phone numbers at all, it only recognizes phone numbers formatted in a very specific format and even does a poor job at that. US phone numbers usually work better, but if the country code is missing, they will also fail, unless you are in the US. Will all phone numbers be recognized? Numbers composed properly look like this: 800-203-2540 +(44)1480-897760 +44 154 22 2 3345 +(44)1480 854 383 +35929798944 +49 7246 / 70 53 2522 There should be an option to set a default country code and an option to add a country code on the fly with a right-click. Most websites targeted to a national audience do not add a country code to their phone numbers. Other similar extensions provide these kind of features or provide a region selection.

- really need an option to remove changing content on the website. Also Tel links shouldn't immediatly start dialing, they should jsut autofill the zoiper app ready for a dial. Otherwise fucntionality works as expected.

- Erkennt Telefonnummern nicht richtig. Alle arten von Zahlen (IPs, Daten, Uhrzeit...) werden als Telefonnummer erkannt. Websites dadurch teilweise nicht lesbar.

- I added the extension and when I click it, it opens a page that gives me an overview, reviews and related tabs. The extension is useless, I still need to go into the website to use the service. I just started using Zoiper and so far no problem.

- This extension works perfectly when used as it was designed to be used. When trying to make it "fit" where it wasn't designed, it won't work. From what I have seen, the negative reviews are from people who want it to work in a way it wasn't designed to work. This extension is NOT a catch-all solution for "every" phone number published on every web page. It is specifically designed to recognize certain common number translation rules. Works best in conjunction with a hosted CRM in which the phone numbers are all formatted the same way and based on Zoiper Click2Dial number translation rules. When used like this it's fantastic solution!

- Does a poor job of identifying telephone numbers. The telephone number detection extensions in Chrome does a much better job, however it doesn't support the zoiper:// protocol.
