Tab Group

Easy to understand and use. Works great for me, but I wish it had more features. The export and import settings I did while switching computers didn't function, though, so I had to manually find the tabs and re-add them, which kind of sucked. That wasn't enough of a dealbreaker to stop using it, though. It's simple and mostly functional, which is all I ask.

SIMPLLE, BUT IMPROVES PRODUCTIVITY Does exactly what's missing from Google Tab Groups: - create tab groups from disparate windows - name / rename groups - drag n drop groups - critical, since Google tab groups order is not stable - export / import Missing: - sync with other devices - tab group colors One Major Caveat - tab group integrity is not maintained when you add to a window (tabs from different groups are not separated)

It does not work with the Google Chrome Tab Groups but add a different, less useful concept.

It does not handle Google Chrom Tab Groups but it defines a new / different Tab Group Concept.

It lacks some few important features. You can add a tab to a group many times. If link is added to previously defined group it does not close the tab :) you cannot sync between devices or save on cloud.

Нехватает в описании слова sync, а именно указания того, что данные синхронизируются между браузерами с одним гугл аккаунтом. Этот момент заставлял меня много раз обходить расширение стороной. Импорт JSON или не работает вообще или не работает там где отсутствует синхронизирующийся гугл аккаунт. Создавал отдельный локальный не связанный ни с каким имейлом или гугл аккаунтом профиль Chrome. Группы и списки ссылок создаются, но импорт ни к чему не приводит. Идентичное поведение наблюдается и в Edge, в котором конечно нет никакого гугл аккаунта, а используется майкрософт аккаунт.

Es excelente! La practicidad que permite es única. Puedo guardar todas las pestañas de un trabajo específico y abrirlas en una ventana nueva. Una genialidad. Sería ideal que permitiera pisar un grupo completo.

It was working fine for the first 2-3 months but recently it is not saving any of my new groups. I have tried multiple times to save it and even tried deleting some of my old groups thinking that would help but there has been no change. Kindly resolve this issue immediately

So useful now that we have more and more tabs. I use it to organize the tabs relative to their content, or with some stars as tab names the keep information about the relevance of the page. Very well done. I wish i could do some code like that

Now I can only export into a json file to search it manually. 2 Cannot append tabs into a existed group easily because you can only select tabs one by one to apppend. 3 Buggy. When you try to save a window of tabs into a group with "close tabs after save group", your tabs will be lost before it tells you cannot directly save a group with same name (cannot append directly)

One of the only tab extensions available that functions correctly, that is actually usable. Seems a little clunky to add links to the groups but I found you can right-click on any page, not on the tab and click add to group. The links themselves are easy to get to afterwards but and it was driving me nuts because it was so many clicks to add but the right clicking solved that.

Sync Tab Groups is far more functional and easier to use... and STG has not been updated in years.

Brilliant. Super useful. Requests? I would to block dup links in "add new link" and also add an option to close other tabs when you select certain tab groups. eg I have 2 tabs open, I open "learning C" group, I'd like an option to close all other tabs in that open window.

So far so good. It does the one thing that the native Chrome 'tab-group' doesn't which for me is saving a group after the browser session is closed. Would love to have this save across sessions under my chrome profile on another computer.

Cuando tienes una cierta cantidad de enlaces guardados, tarda una eternidad en abrirlo y para el colmo por arte de magia, se me borro todo lo guardado. Resumiendo la idea es buena pero la extinción es una porquería mal hecha.

One improvement I would like to see is after adding a Tag Group, let me have the ability to drag-and-drop / update my existing group without having to select all the tabs from another browser. If I open my current Tab Group and added a few new tabs, I want to be able to just update the group and not to save the entire list of tabs again which duplicates existing tabs in the group. And with the new introduction of the Group tabs back in May 2020, I was playing around with it to label a bunch of tabs but I am not able to save that label information. The moment I close the browser, all the labels are gone. I would like to see the Tag Group extension label all tabs accordingly to the Group Name. In that way, I can manipulate the group accordingly. There has to be a connection between the Tag Group extension and the Group tab features. Otherwise, they look to be disconnected.
