Easy and quick way to view and control your IP-cameras
This Extension allows you to view and control your IP cameras in the popup window. To work you must select the camera model (or you can use "Autoscan"), fill an IP camera address, username and password to access your IP camera in the Options. This is a free function of the Extension.

MyIPCam is the easiest and fastest way to view your IP cameras. Basic functions, such as viewing and controlling the camera in a popup window, are free.
But you can get more:
+ the function of image recording (to the Download folder),
+ the ability to view your cameras in a separate tab and in a separate window (for example, you can use full-screen mode),
+ 'Options' page and Popup window of the extension can be password protected,
+ the ability of extended PTZ (go to / set preset) for some cameras.
To activate these functions, you must pay a small fee.

If you can not find your camera in the list "Cam model" in "Options", try to use the field "Use snapshot path". In this field you should enter a PATH (/path) to the camera JPEG snapshot. All IP cameras have different snapshot link.

NOTE. How to disable "Save as.." storm for image recording:
1. Open Chrome Settings
2. Scroll down and click "Show advanced settings..."
3. Find "Downloads"
4. Disable "Ask where to save each file before downloading"

- Hello guys. I tried to install my IP Camera it is a simple IP Camara with a permanent IP like 192.xxx.xxx.90 port is 80. added my user and password. Cam Model: Floureon V2 - after the scan I receive the info: "Response is received but no image: incorrect Content-Type. Try manual settings." I do not have the PTZ..? Can someone help? beside of this, the app looks good ;) Thanks, Andreas

- nice app if you know what the definitions are for security cameras and network lingo. but needs to add rtsp support for cams like wyze which have rtsp enabled and dont have a web interface

- It gets five stars for usability, the configs for various cameras are obscene but I have three various styles and it manages to view and control them all. There are some little nuances you need to overlook considering the breadth of covering brands and I'm still in the learning stage. Security isn't really an issue watching what its doing on the back end but for those who get crazy, install a different / compatible browser and use it without saving / entering passwords on secure sites. Its priced inexpensive for the value - really!

- Nickel, donne un aperçu rapide en un clic : il "fait le job" : simple, rapide, dépouillé. Pour avoir plus il faut se tourner vers le logiciel livré avec la cam OU un logiciel dédié OU MIEUX une solution avec une application d'un NAS (la télésurveillance est gourmande en espace de stockage) mais ce n'est pas son utilité. Vu le prix, rien à dire. PS : ceux qui se plaignent que ça ne marche pas ont juste un problème de configuration: cherchez de l'aide, vous allez trouver.

- Seit 01.01.2021 leider keine Flash Unterstützung mehr in Google Chrome - daher funktioniert auch diese Erweiterung nicht mehr! Bitte unbedingt ein entsprechendes Update auf den Weg bringen. Danke!

- molto valida anche in versione free, non funziona il pan tilt a meno di non comprare la versione full, ma anche in versione free non ha nulla da togliere ad altre soluzioni, anzi.. veloce e pratico anche da configurare. ottimo!

- The description needs to be clearer about the fact that it's only free to view the cameras in the popup that opens when you click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar. Viewing cameras in a normal browser window - which is what I would expect that a Chrome extension would support by default - requires payment. Also, it doesn't seem to support RTSP, so it's useless for me anyway.
