ShortcutKey2URL provide a shortcut key to easily access frequently visit sites.
ShortcutKey2URL for Chrome is an extension for Google Chrome that allows you to open, and move url using shortcut keys. You can also run JavaScript.
Display the action list with the startup key and execute the action with the next key.
The startup key default is Ctrl+Period(on mac, Command+Comma). You can change this key later.
Characters that can be used as keys are not limited to one character. It can be set as multiple characters. ShrotcutKey2URL executes its action from the characters entered consecutively as keys when the target is narrowed down to one.
The items that can be set as actions are as follows.
* Jump to URL. For already opened URL, go to that tab. Open it as a new tab if it is not already open.
* Open URL in new tab.
* Open URL in current tab.
* Execute the JavaScript on the current tab.
* Open URL as a new tab and then execute the JavaScript.
* Open specified URL in incognito window.
* Open same URL as the current tab in incognito window.
Due to a limitation in Manifest V3, it is no longer possible to specify JavaScript as a string.
You must specify the JavaScript you wish to execute in advance in the user-script.js file under the folder where the extension is installed.

You press a shortcut, you get short codes that take you straight to a website or even better - run a piece of code on the currently open website. This can be used to automate a lot of tedious work.

- (2023-05-29) Dan Cash: Does what it says on the pack. Create your own Keyboard Shortcut for any frequently used web-page URL or scripted web-action. With a handy prompt menu to guide you when you've forgotten your clever shortcut short-hand; and the source code freely available on github for the curious / paranoid among us, at https://github.com/onozaty/chrome-shortcutkey2url (Right-click on the ShortcutKey2URL Extension icon in the Browser toolbar, then click 'ShortcutKey2URL for Chrome' (first context menu option) to open that github page in your browser. Do yourself a favour and get it. If it makes your life sweeter, remember to leave a Review, and maybe throw the dev a shekel.

- (2020-01-26) Boris Raifler: It is really great extension! Excellent! But I have one proposal. The users that use several locales (let say, English and Russian), if they don't want to remember what is their current keyboard (En or Ru) should add the page twice - with English Key and Russian key, that fully identical to English (the same keys). Therefore the list of keywords is twice bigger. So, my questions are: 1) Is it possible to mark some shortkeys as "not shown") - as minimum we'll have twice smaller list). 2) Is it possible to put several shortkeys, separated by space (for example) in one page adding. In this case the space itself can not be used as a part of keyword. And only the first shortkey from such listed shortkeys will be shown in shortkey list. (If it is possible, there is no necessity in marking some shortkey as not shown). Thanks
