misleading. marked links dissapear when you close the broswer. It doesnt remember them. There is an export feature that does nothing. It generates a json file but there is nothing there when you import it back in. USELESS.

if you close the browser it resets every thing, no way to see your marked sites, extremely difficult to see on a dark mode theme

I find this extension to be very useful. I use it is to mark web pages of design graphics, fonts, mockups and other assets I've downloaded. It's a good way to prevent re-downloading the same items I've already downloaded. So far so good. While it works as intended, it would be nice if it offered a way to display something more prominent to signify a "marked" page (for example: a bright color becomes visible, or text is displayed at the top of a page, etc). The ability to add a custom overlay text at the top of a marked page would be great. It's a shame that Chrome and other browsers don't provide this mark web pages functionality as a default feature. Same with the ability to auto-alphabetize bookmarks and bookmark folders, tag based page bookmarking (such as what Diigo offers), ad-blocking, and a better option to disable and group opened tabs to reduce processor load without having to close the tabs. Yeah, I get that's what extensions are for, but there's no way to know if an extension is safe or not (many have malware, or cause browser crashes and slowdowns). You'd think that Google could allocate a small portion of their billions in revenue to vet extensions in their Chrome Store. There are some I've experienced very shady malware practices and page spoofing, yet they remain available for download months after multiple users claim to have reported them. Anyway, thanks to the author of this Mark As Read extension. I haven't noticed any odd behaviors or slow down issues.

Francisco, I want auto-mark-visited option too. sometimes chrome crashed and browser's history deleted. I want see I visited this page or not in past in extension area easyly.

To piggyback on Xiang Zhong's request: "Feature Request: It would be much better if "auto-mark-visited" option is added, in other words, if this available option is turned on, users do not need to manually mark the every page that they are going to open." Response: "Francisco Javier Martínez Lago Jul 11, 2021 That sounds similar to the browser's history feature. Have you thought about using that instead?" ----------------------------------------------- The browser's history feature only keeps the last 90 days or so of history. So I too, would love to see this feature added. Thanks for the extension!

Sadly, this extension is absolutely useless because all your marks vanish when you close Google Chrome.

The idea is absolutely great, but the implementation still lacks features. Plus there is a grand minus - pages are not saved within the closure of Chrome browser.
