This extension gives you quick access to your Protopage, and lets you easily add news feeds and bookmarks to your start page from any site web site that you are visiting in your web browser.

This extension does not disclose your web browsing activity in any way to any party, and is never transmitted outside of your computer. This extension is designed solely to give you easy access to your Protopage start page and to help you add bookmarks and news feeds to your Protopage.

I moved over from Opera to Brave and was offered "Protopage Start Page". I did not know this was available; not sure it IS available in Opera. Very nice. I like that I can "add bookmarks" and "add all open tabs..." as I start my WEB sessions with the same open tabs which I inadvertently close every once in a while.
I've used this for years. Dependable start page to link favorites to.
Everything works as expected. Organizes everything from within Google. Just made it part of my startup tabs. I have no issues. I really like it so far. Security? I won't store passwords there because I have no clue where this data is being stored and who has access to it, but I guess you could say that about any organizer. Best I've tried so far. Mike

Can't import bookmarks - and I have a lot! Adding them one at a time will take forever so I will continue to use igHome as my main feed page.

i use Yahoo but I am sick of all the sex and Kardashian, and other trash that is there. They never change the top story. I used this a couple of years ago and it disappeared one day and I found it again today So Happy

It was good, but now isn't displaying the page at all in Google Chrome, apart from the banner ads. I've added nothing else to Chrome, it's just stopped working all of its own accord - and you can't contact the company, or Google so far as I can see, in any way that will resolve the issue.

Love it but can't get the calendar to work. Wish there was a more detailed help that tells you all that is possible with it.

Protopage is an awesome way to stay in touch with what you want and need. Love it! If they offer a paid version without ADs, I would consider.

Google News used to be my stop until they changed the design to something truly terrible to the eye. All the while this fantastic page was available. I would have switched long ago had I known about it so I will spread the word.

Found protopage a couple of years ago and have been using it ever since. I have access to all the info I need to see on a daily basis.

I have been looking for a good start page for a long time. This one is good. As it develops I hope more widgets will become available.

Let me know if I'm missing a setting....The little pics next to the news headlines don't line up with the headlines. Ex: CNN shows 5 Headlines, but only 2.5 (yes, 2 and a half...) thumbnails. I want the pic so I get interested in reading the headline it belongs to! I seriously want to give 5 stars and love this extension, so am I just missing something? (Yes, I tried different size font, different combos of settings, unchecking the auto-resize box,etc.) Will gladly change rating if someone can help me make it all match up!

I guess it is too much to ask that such a great browser addition be free. After a while you get huge banner adds and I am not willing to pay the $2.99 per month to get rid of them. Too bad. Uninstall.

I use Protopage as my home page and keep all my favorite links on it - in fact I don't use "favourites" at all. It's my favourite web page of all!
