THIS CHROME DOWLOADER EXTENSION IS JUNK. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE VERY POOR AND VERY GENERAL WITH NO MEANS OF CONFIRMATION THAT THE VIDEO IS ACTUALLY DOWNLOADED. AS IT SAID, I "STARTED THE PLAYBACK TO MAKE SURE IT WOULD GRAB THE RIGHT VIDEO". BUT THERE IS NO PLACE THAT SHOWS THE DOWNLOAD IS ACTUALLY TAKING PLACE. AFTER AN HOUR OF THIS NONSENSE, THERE WAS NOTHING IN MY COMPUTER'S "DOWNLOADS" AND NOTHING IN THE "VIDEOS" FILE OR THE DESKTOP. IT JUST A WASTE OF TIME. AND NO, I AM NOT GOING TO PAY FOR ANY JUNK.

I could download any resolution above 96p form Reddit. This is a low bar, but most downloaders can't even do this, so this one gets 5/5.

There are some limitations on this tool. There seems to be missing support for HLS but, I am guessing this is not the intended used of the tool. There also seem to be missing support for blob: and data: properties are being used in the src in the video tag. Perhaps support for those properties can be added to the tool? Unless the tool see directly to the src property with a file extension, then the tools becomes useless.

Not bad, but this program doesn't work everywhere.

I can't grab any music from YouTube using this extension. I suggest you not add it to Chrome it is a waste of time.

Great extension. Who writes that he does not download from YouTube, read the description. The downloader is not able to download YouTube videos as this is prohibited by YouTube's privacy policy.

Полезное расширение, работает быстро без сбоев, браузер не грузит абсолютно. Закрепила на верхнюю панельку и пользуюсь с удовольствием! Очень удобно, спасибо).

Наконец-то нашла нормально расширение, которое действительно скачивает видео и фильмы, а не только имитирует скачивание, а на деле что-то там майнит или еще что-то делает, но только не свои прямые функции.
