A simple extension to type emoji in Google Hangouts with emoji codes.
Note: You must refresh all Gmail/Hangouts pages after installation for this extension to work.
Emoji For Hangouts allows you to type emoji in Google Hangouts with ease. You no longer have to scroll through a long list of emoji. Instead you can just use Discord-like shortcuts. For example,
:thinking: -> 🤔
:hamburger: -> 🍔
:cowboy: -> 🤠
This extension has no graphical interface - instead it just works in any Hangouts chat. If you type a partial emoji name, you can use the tab key to cycle through possibilities, sorted by frequency of use.

Edit: Can we get emoji 12.0 support? Every time I try :man_facepalming: it shows woman_facepalming with the male symbol. YESSSSS!!! This is what EVERY communication tool needs! 10/10
