Cliqz Tab replaces Chrome's default new tab page and adds backgrounds, favorites, news and Cliqz's anonymous quick search.
Replace the original new tab page with a simple and fast personal dashboard featuring a search box, a speed dial, and a beautiful wallpaper that changes daily.
Features:
- The wallpaper changes automatically every day. We want to keep it a daily surprise, so there is no way to change it manually.
- The search box gives automatic suggestions powered by the technology of Cliqz.com. The suggestions might be different based on your IP address. You can navigate between the suggestions with the arrow keys. If you hit enter, you get directed to a Google result page.
- Move between your most visited sites with the arrow keys. "Read and modify all your data on the websites you visit" permission needed to list these most visited pages.

Bin ja schon ein Fan von Chrome. Aber ich finde, dass Google nicht alles über mich wissen muss. Mit Fresh New Tab kann ich jetzt endlich "an Google vorbei" durchs Web navigieren. Schnell, direkt und ohne Umwege über werbe-lastige Suchergebnisseiten. Für die allermeisten Suchen zeigt mir die App gute Vorschläge. Jetzt much ich nur noch ganz selten bei Google suchen.
