This extension let's you quickly and easily remove all images and videos. This allows for a distraction free website viewing experience. Configurable to hide either images or videos or both.
Just click the extension icon and instantly all media will be removed. Refresh the page to undo.

its not do the task automatically. everytime i have to enable it. Thats why i am giving 3 Star. To get 5 Star hide video automatically whenever i visit facebook.
Would be great if I didn't have to give access each and everytime when I am visiting a new website. Please do NOT add options to view an selective individual image or video. either hide all or show all.
Helps me to hide videos and only listen to them. This increases my productivity Would be great to manage settings by only clicking the symbol on symbolsbar. Actually you have to move to Options in chrome settings, which is in a new tab, to decide "hide photos" on/off "hide videos" on/off also i have to restart a already playing video if i decide to hide it

Works on a page-by-page basis and doesn't save the setting, so you will get the initial view.

tested 6 extensions, but this was the first that provides a instant hide when clicked simply and efficiently (including javascript injected images)

Doesn't do what is says. Doesn't remove images, only paints it with black. Image is still there and taking up space.

I love this extension! Many web sites are loaded with images and videos that aren't relevant to the content. This takes care of the problem, in a way that's simple, elegant, and non-destructive. (If hiding the pictures does cause a problem, the solution is just a matter of hitting the "refresh" button.)
