perfect no changes needed
Searched around for a bit for a YouTube music mini player. This one is the clear winner! HOWEVER One feature you MUST implement is the ability to control the volume in the mini player by hovering over the volume icon and using the mouse scroll wheel. This would get the complete 5/5 out from me, but for now it is a 4! Thanks for a great extension and I look forward to when that feature is added.
Great app, but WHY is it always on the front of all apps? Let me chose if its pinned to the front, I just wanted a small player for youtube music and now it wont get off my screen without having to close all my music.
I love to use this extension at work on the huge computer they have there, but on my laptop at home: the extension is HUGE taking up a lot of space. I would like yto be able to configure that. Also the "like" function stopped working. Still i love it

Wish it had support for Soundcloud. I see it's still an active project, so maybe it could get support someday.
Been using this extension for months already on YT Music, for some reason it doesn't work well now. Volume slider doesn't appear, timeline bar doesn't work and play button always look like it's paused. I can still play, pause and like but it's a bit annoying that it doesn't work as it used to. Tried on Chrome and Opera GX, both show the same result
Super simple and easy to use for Youtube Music. Does not take up much space and is clean looking.
Great extension but take in mind, if it doesnt work on your spotify you need to change your language to english otherwise the URL will be different and the extension is not going to work.
works perfect for youtube music, but never works for spotify web. for spotify, itll show the first song that played then wont change
Great extension. The github + extension page mentions keyboard shortcuts but I can't find anything to set them or what they already are.
There was an odd bug that caused the mini player to scroll up and hide the controls for the player. I reported it on Github and it was fixed in less than a day. Great job supporting a great tool.

Most useful plugin i could find for music pop up in chrome.
To all the people stuck on 'choose player menu'. SOLVED. Just go to your extension icon top right (if u hadn't pinned the extension) then right-click on the extension icon. Now go to ur YT music tab play and can use the widget. Think it is Chrome's fault.

Whey I have to allow "Read and change all your data on all websites" Permission while the Extension just need to gain access to the following URL to be Fully work: *://music.amazon.com/* *://music.apple.com/* *://music.youtube.com/* *://open.spotify.com/* https://*.synqapp.io/* What else you need for my privacy; you already get the access to the Previous URL and more {"Read your browsing history and Display notifications"}. Do you really need the browsing history by the way? "SynQ requires some permissions to work. This includes storing data, accessing music service websites, generating notifications, etc." !!
Not working for YouTube Music. It keeps giving me the "choose platform" window and no matter how many times I click on YouTube Music it does nothing. I checked all permissions and restarted Chrome. Nothing.
Adding other music services is neat, but giving permissions to "Read and change all your data on all websites" should be a non-starter for everyone. That is crazy for a simple music plugin. I read your reply to another user below, but its honestly not sufficient. Sorry too, because the previous implementation was great.
Used to be great when YT Music only but since trying to work for other platforms it's totally unreliable and barely works.
Good extension. Only thing that it is missing is the add to playlist shortcuts on both the mini player and the keyboard. Edit 2: OK thanks for the info.
On my desktop I always hated the clunky YouTube music volume slider as I couldn't get it low enough. This has amazing volume control and the other pop out features are amazing. What a beautiful extension.

I adored it! Just a tiny hiccup I noticed—previously, it played nice with other extensions. But now, when I'm on the YouTube Music page and then I click on its sidebar icon, it seems to disable the camera or somehow shuts down the awesome screenshot recording extension's camera. The recording itself still carries on, mind you. I'm mentioning it here because with the previous iteration of the extension, known as YTM, this wasn't an issue. I could easily overlook this, given how much it has assisted me. Kudos to the developer for their hard work! While I could brush it aside, I thought I'd inform you of the snag I've encountered. If it's open-source, I could remove it and raise the issue there. Cheers! Suggestion: YouTube Live to play as well.
why does extension needs access to all the sites all of a sudden? also, when i set to allow only on youtube music it say that i must enable on all sites to work...a bit sus, no?
Excellent stuff, very helpful. How does the Spotify link -> YTM work? Tried running Spotify web player but couldn't see any obvious way of sending link to YTM+ Making this work independently in picture-in-picture would be great.

would be great if it didnt break YTM and its audio. tho it was also the audio only plugin that was causing problems

I just installed this last night. I was looking for something I could quickly click on to see the current song title without launching the bulky YTM player. This extension was exactly what I was looking for. I was even more impressed with the pop-up notifications, so there's no need for me to click on the extension. Even better!

The extension is half-break since today, it always says "No Music Playing", then I refresh the YTM page, it works, but after I closed the extension pop-up, it back to "No Music Playing" state.

The extension does not work well in Chrome. The mini player works until the song changes and tells "no music playing". Restarting the browser again, one song works and the same problem after song change. Otherwise, it would be a great extension for Chrome
Last.fm integration seems to be doing nothing. I'm logged in, but no scrobbles and no errors in the dev console..
