Extensión para devolver el antiguo diseño de Twitter de 2015.
Esta extensión no agrega ningún CSS en la parte superior de Twitter original. Es un cliente completamente diferente que reemplaza al nuevo cliente original de Twitter, haciéndolo más rápido que las alternativas que sólo añaden estilo encima de Twitter.
Por favor, visita https://twitter.com/old/settings después de la instalación para hacer que funcione a tu gusto. Cambia a la cronología por defecto, puedes cambiar a la cronología algorítmica en la configuración.
El código es de código abierto. Visita https://github.com/dimdenGD/OldTwitter para ver el código y reportar cualquier problema.
Características
- Básicamente se implementa casi toda la funcionalidad de Twitter
- Soporta colores de enlace de perfil personalizados
- Puedes cambiar el color del enlace de perfil y aparecerá para otros usuarios de la extensión (prioridad: oldtwitter color db -> twitter color db -> color por defecto)
- Posibilidad de cambiar el color y la fuente del enlace por defecto, activar/desactivar Twemoji, desactivar las estrellas (favoritos) y volver a los likes (corazones)
- Posibilidad de mostrar los colores de los enlaces personalizados del usuario en la cronología
- Soporte del modo oscuro
- Elimina todos los anuncios
- Descarga fácil de vídeos y GIFs

- I love and prefer this extension as it simplifies X for me and takes me back to earlier times. It's only problem, and this is a minor one, is that with a single dev, if X updates, the extension has to update, and this can take time as the dev has to get said update approved for release in the store. 18 MAR 2026, X did just that, updated, and now I have to keep the extension off until it updates. I recommend this for anyone wanting a taste of old Twitter!

- Was working for a bit until it stopped yesterday (3/17) showing me this error: "Oldtwitter doesn’t allow unsigned requests anymore for your account security. Currently the main reason for this happening is social network tracker protection blocking the script. Try disabling such settings in your browser and extensions that do that and refresh the page. This can also happen if you’re not logged in." Please get it back up and running ASAP!! Thank you

- Now that Elon Musk got rid of Dim mode I thin we need an update that allows for the layout to look like the modern and fix it so that Premium users can use the extended character count. I feel like you are going to get more people using this from now on so adding the modern look is going to be essential now.

- still works to this day but i would like to see a gif option to be added also push notifications don't seem to work with this extension on for some reason i've also been thinking about having an option to use the 2019 layout it's basically the same layout format that we have today expect all of the elon musk changes are gone

- This used to work for me a while ago, but I keep getting an error about unsigned requests not being allowed now. The message tells me that I need to disable social network tracker protection to fix this, but I have tried installing the extension in different browsers and I am not able to fix this.

- This looks really nice, but every time I try to open a tweet, it keeps saying, “SyntaxError: Failed to execute 'json' on 'Response': Unexpected end of JSON input.” If there is a solution to this, that would be nice.

- This extension is amazing — I honestly can’t live without it! I really hope you can add an option to show the number of quote tweets directly on the timeline, without having to click into each tweet. That would make it even more perfect!
