Search the current site
A toolbar button to search all pages of any website using Google.
Search any site you're on by the simple click of a button. The search is done not only on the 1 page you are viewing as [Ctrl]+[F] does but instead Google is used to "site search" within ALL pages of the site.
How to customize:
Right-click the 🔍 "Search this site" button, then click "Options". See second screenshot above for what options are available.

I've been using this addon for 11 years, however today I noticed it stopped opening due to site permissions. I downloaded the addon as a .zip, used Perplexity to modify the manifest.json and manually loaded the extension. It's working fine again (added this after "optional_permissions" section): "host_permissions": [ "*://*/*" ], _____________________________________________________________________ Original review: "Jul 31, 2014 - 5 stars Must have, never had problems with it. Tip: To people who want a keyboard shortcut, the bottom of the Chrome extensions page lets you setup hotkey combinations to your addons - mine is set to Ctrl-Shift-F."

Works...if you know how to use it but the instructions are missing or not transparent. This is the syntax and you really don't need this extension if you just following the pattern: site:wiki.com marketing. This means you will search for ‘marketing’ on Wiki. Ensure there is no space after the colon. Otherwise when clicking on the extension you get this: "site:domain" and redirected to google search

I love it! Very handy functionality. Of course, you can always add [site:xxx.xxx/yyy] to your search yourself, but this is much handier. Unfortunately, it suddently stopped working in Crhome 122.0.6261.112. I'm hoping that will be fixed soon.

Az alapvető kiegészítőim közé sorolom, rendszeresen, hetente többször használom, évek óta. Az ikonjára kattintva egyből elkezdhetjük gépelni, amire az adott oldalon rá akarunk keresni. Ráadásul csak most jöttem rá, hogy vannak extra beállítások, mert az Edge-re is inkább ezt telepítettem épp most és csak most néztem meg. És jók a beállítási lehetőségek is, bár az alapbeállításokkal is el voltam mostanáig. :) Szóval ez is egy tipikus hiánypótló kiegészítő/addon/extension, aminek minden böngészőben benne kéne lennie "gyárilag". Méghozzá ezekkel a beállítási funkciókkal, amikkel ez rendelkezik. Nem nagy durranás - mondhatni - hanem alapvető! Attól nagy, hogy nagy hiányt pótol.

It doesn't actually search the site, it just searches the Google index. If your site isn't indexed entirely then it won't produce the expected result.

Duckduckgo? Searx? Advanced -> custom search engine -> paste a custom link :D
Finde ich Pfiffig :-) Mit einem Mausklick kann ich das gleiche auf der aktuellen Webseite tun, als wenn ich bei der google Suche den Parameter "site:" angebe. Erspart schon mal ein, zwei Arbeitsgänge.

Rendszeresen használom, alapfunkciónak kéne lennie a Chrome-ban! Ctrl-Shift-F bill. kombinációval nagyon könnyű váltogatni a normál keresés és e között.
