  • (2023-09-27) Paula Berry: Very Disappointed - I have used this for the last 2 years with my clients and it was always an instant color match, it took literally just seconds. Not anymore! Don't know what you've done, upgrades? etc. but it is not instant anymore. Infact, I don't get anything anymore. I've disappointed several clients who have taken their time compiling images to review and choose a color palette for their home decor. Even simply uploading an image isn't working. It's just not user friendly like it used to be. What a shame! I will continue to try to figure it out, but in the meantime, I won't have this tool anymore. Not sure if your listening, but, you really reined a good thing!?

  • (2021-02-13) Kelly Richards: Doesn't work. Finds the pic I want to snap great but never completes the process of finding the colors.
  • (2019-10-16) Home Remodeling Contractors , LLC: Muy buena , y se le ayuda al cliente , es lo importante. Home Remodeling Contractors, LLC
  • (2019-09-16) Brooke Liles: It used to work, but now it just tells me I need to log in. I have logged in, still doesn't work.
  • (2019-08-17) Mel Hall: I finally figured out how to use the thing saving the results to Pinterest. Navigate to the picture you want to color code (in Pinterest it can't be a board, you have click and be looking at a single picture) > click the SnapIt button you added to Chrome (the snap it banner will show up in the upper left corner) > hover over your photo (a color scheme will appear) > click SNAP IT > click SAVE COLORS > click PIN IT > navigate to the board you want to save it into > click SAVE Like other folks said, it doesn't appear to be identifying colors really well (my blues are all saying they are CAVIAR (a black), but at least they will get me in the ballpark when I go to the paint store and I can finesse the colors there.
  • (2019-07-24) Ian Ng: does not work. nothing happens when i click on the snap logo next to the address bar. I have gotten a pop up once that says 'please sign in first'. I am signed in to sherwin williams website, so I am not sure what site or app it is asking me to sign into.
  • (2019-04-30) Judie Weaver: I wanted to see how colors looked on a front door. How hard can that be? Obviously too hard for SW web designers
  • (2019-04-24) Loretta Lyon: Keeps saying I have to log in, but has no instructions to do so and only disappears when clicked on. I went to the website and logged in there, but the same message is appearing.
  • (2018-03-06) Judy Kaiser: Doesn't load or work
  • (2017-10-29) Cheryl “Infinity Travel” Wilson: It doesn't work. I added to Chrome and it does nothing. Crappy tool Sherwin!
  • (2017-09-28) Maude Sylvestre: Pas assez réaliste comme choix de couleurs!
  • (2017-05-23) Anita Phillips: It doesn't work. Doesn't do anything and there are NO instructions.
  • (2017-01-28) Pintores Rosario: Es una muy buena opción para pintores que usan mucho la marca Sherwin Williams. Ayuda a la hora de una reunión con el cliente.
  • (2017-01-26) Irina Svetlowa: Hi, I am interested in acquiring your extension "Snap It Button". Please contact me at: [email protected]
  • (2016-09-09) Christa Culwell: It certainly does it's job, however it only pulls out the deep, dark and neutral colors. Even when "snapping" an image of a bright rainbow colored blanket, it only "snapped" the dark colors in the blanket and the neutral colors that comprised the wood paneled wall in the background. None of the bright orange, pink, blues or greens showed up in the limited 5 color palette. This could be a really amazing app if it didn't default to the neutrals.
  • (2016-09-01) MOTIF INTERIORS: This is actually a great tool
  • (2016-04-21) abi du coeur: It may not be perfect, but I can't find anything that does this better, and it's certainly easier than saving the image and getting hex codes with a drawing tool. To the people that weren't able to use it: you have to log in/create an account first. There should be an option to do that at the top of the page; after that you'll be able to mouse over images.
  • (2016-03-10) John Ladner: This thing is garbage.
  • (2016-02-27) Amber Dooley: The most frustrating "tool!" I click the extension button on Chrome when I have an image i'd like to use and the ColorSnap banner pops down and says "Roll Over an Image to Snap It." Roll over it with what?! My cursor? Nope. Scroll the entire page? Nope. What in the world?! What has the potential to be a really useful tool is a frustrating waste of time. :( As an alternative, I saw the option to upload an image or the image url to the ColorSnap page, which looked like it might work! Unfortunately, when it does work, it doesn't include all of the colors in the photo. So frustrating!
  • (2016-02-19) Doesn't work. Should be as easy as right-click any image and get a palette like color palette.
