9/29/18 Working perfect for two days now, will update if it stops
I left my room with Pandora running and it does not stopped. Sometime it took few seconds longer made me think its not working but it continues to play. No more are you still listening?

(20 Sept 2017) After a few months of not working, I'm a little scared to say it IS again now, but for the last couple of weeks anyway, it indeed does seem to be back, never leaving me without music unless I lose my connection. My rating is also back up now. (25 May 2017) I don't think it's noted here that a REBOOT is actually required before the extension works. Restarting Chrome isn't enough. I was skeptical until I rebooted, but it works perfectly now that I have.
Pandora must have figured out how to go around this hack. It was a 5 star app that no longer works. Thanks for trying guys.

Update: Issue appears resolved... Didn't work. I still had to click the button and advise I was still listening
This worked great for me after the big Pandora update early 2017 ruined my other solutions. Dunno why others are having problems.
