Remoku is a network remote control for Roku streaming players, written in Javascript, CSS, and HTML5. This extension adds a shortcut icon to Chrome, that launches Remoku in a popup window. You can control your Roku after setup using the on-screen icons, or with the keyboard. See help.remoku.tv for more information.

- (2019-03-09) Doesn't work with my new Roku streaming stick. Scan doesn't see my device's IP, manually entering my Roku device IP doesn't work either. I know I have the correct IP and am on the same network because 192.168.xx.xx:8060/query/apps does see my device and does correctly display the list of my installed Roku apps. Any ideas?

- (2018-08-28) Cee West: When it did work, it was great. Then it suddenly stopped working. It refuses to acknowledge my ip, it doesn't find my device on scans, it's completely and utterly useless. I've been trying to fix it for months to no avail.

- (2018-07-18) Mark Hutchings: Doesnt detect any of my Roku devices or from any of the TCL TV's with Roku built in. Even entering every IP manually, this extension doesnt work.
- (2018-07-15) Josh S: Fantastic app, the scan feature didn't work so well for me, but I was able to set it up with a manual IP Address add. My favorite feature is the keyboard option, now typing in passwords for all my apps and accounts is so much easier.

- (2018-02-27) Jeffrey Sterling: This is very convenient to have right in the browser and it appears to work properly. I was lucky I had the network map software from my router so the TV IP address was readily available making setup a breeze. I will give it a 5 when they add volume and mute.
- (2017-12-22) Joe Maerkle: I don't know if this developer is around anymore; It's clear they haven't updated this in years, so it's hit or miss if it's going to work with your model. Good luck!

- (2017-06-04) Andy Hutchins: Extremely buggy in Chrome on Mac. Changing settings is impossible, and even trying to export and copy settings, does not work. My router runs on a different base IP address and thus far I have not been able to change that despite the UI suggesting it is editable. It honestly feels like a weekend project by an amateur developer.. It needs a LOT of work.
