Go do that first and make sure you have Backups. If you want to sync Bookmarks between Chrome<>FireFox between Multiple Computers. This Extension will either DESTROY your Bookmarks or sync duplicates of them. THIS EXTENSION IS NOT FOR NOVICE USERS. DO NOT USE IT IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. It is needlessly complicated, does not work well with Google Sync or Firefox sync. During the process of syncing and populating bookmarks, if you're on a laptop or weak PC it will use 100% CPU and ALL of your RAM, bringing your laptop to a stop. Do not use this on a weak battery powered machine. If you want to transfer your bookmarks between Chrome<>Firefox, do it manually. It will take less time than dealing with the repercussions of using this extension. BACKUP YOUR User Profiles, and bookmarks!

• (2024-05-01) Saudademaru Envy: This used to be a good extension but within the last couple of months, I have had numerous issues with it. Not syncing, reverting a recent change, and just now I added a new bookmark and it just wiped out half my bookmarks. I am using the Brave browser. I have fully uninstalled and reinstalled this as well as tried it on different computers but have had the issues occur on all systems. One common thing I notice is, if I already have a page for a site bookmarked, if I try to bookmark a different page of the same site, it commonly reverts it and gives me an error. Doesn't seem to do it for all sites, which is weird. Anyway, I can no longer use this. Also do note that this extension says it hasn't been updated since like 2020. I don't know why it suddenly stopped working. I've only been using it for about a year. I think the developer gave up on this, but thanks for the time that it did work.

So if you want a link to appear in your another browser you MUST have all other bookmarks the same!! You don't even know you lost it until after several days when you look for that link. Even if you take regular backups. It is too cumbersome to figure out which got lost where and trying to do a recovery. It shouldn't be hard to design something that will not lose data. If in doubt, dont sync and throw a warning and let the user decide.

I used my main browser first to sync then turn of browser sync so it only syncs through app, after this I install extension on all web browsers and mobile app, it just works. well done to all people involved in this project.
