Dark Theme - Dark Reader for Web offers a dark theme for all websites, making it ideal for individuals working at night or those who prefer a dark background for online news or book reading.
Additionally, the extension allows you to design your own custom theme using any color of your choice. This way, you can personalize the dark mode according to your preferences.
What benefits does the Dark Mode extension offer?

When applied, page loses frames, pictures and letters
As reported already, some sites do not work and login is impossible.

This extension causes the password field at the wp-admin login page in WordPress to be disabled in Chromium-based browsers (such as Chrome, Brave, etc.), leaving users unable to enter their password or log in to WordPress. Be cautious!

Caused websites to not load properly. Most pages showed up all black, with no content.
It works well for me and it's so great!!! Well, I tried a page, it's a minigame, it works and I give it 10/10 it's good.

I primarily got this extension because I do a lot of writing on Google Docs late at night and the bright white of the page is an assault on the eyes at 12-2 am. The extension generally does an excellent job of dimming the page to grey, making these late night writing sessions a lot gentler on the eyes. However, I do have to remove a star due to the fact that, sometimes, it'll do a weird thing where some menu item text turns a really random orange and the actual editable doc stays white, completely going against the reason I downloaded this app in the first place. I think it only does it when I have it working on too many tabs, but it's still annoying. Still recommend, though!

It puts websites into dark mode nicely. It doesn't do the weird invert-color thing (mainly in regards to images) that some extensions do. This way images still look normal, while the page is turned black and text is turned white.

How to remove default theme. When I first enter the site, the default theme is applied instead of my customized theme
I tried 8 different extensions that tout to provide true dark mode on the sites. Maybe plain old HTML ones yes,... none work on more advanced sites. This one does thankfully.
A truly great extension, thanks to whoever made it. Basically the extension allows you to change ANY website into dark mode, you can also adjust how dark it is and other minor settings, only downside I can think of is that sometimes when going into a website the dark mode doesn't load properly so I have to disable and reenable it, not much of a fuss but if it gets fixed it will improve the experience. (Anyways hope Anton is doing well in Kyiv)
