• (2025-07-11) Scheinwerfer120: Does exactly what I need now that custom filters in Adblockers are gone. However for example, the "Breaking News" category on my Youtube home page that appears between normal recommended videos still shows large thumbnails even with the setting being set to medium. I can get rid of the category by clicking on "not interested" in the top right but I would rather have those thumbnails also be of a smaller size so I can keep it around. Also would be nice to get a setting to disable the automatic translation of video titles as I currently need another extension for that. For me that would make it a 5 star, perfect extension

• (2025-06-14) Seamus Carrick: As of 6/12/2025 this extension can triggers Youtube's ad bock detection, but only for some settings. I don't know which specific settings but I disabled AD block and other settings I didn't care about, re-installed the extension and it started working. That said, this extension makes changes to Youtube's UI that are so obvious and useful that they should just be in Youtube's settings. It is so useful that I am going to be checking back on this extension every so often to see if that's been fixed.

I've been using it for the past few weeks to do all of the following: Hide AI summaries, Pause channel trailers, Hide suggested sections, Set higher minimum grid items per row, Hide mixes, Hide playlists, Hide members only videos, Hide shorts, and one or two others. On the other hand, one of the functions that doesn't seem to work as well is Hide watched videos. I've got it set to hide all watched videos from the suggested videos, but I'd say about 10% or so still show up in my recommendeds. Still, that's an improvement over what YouTube shows without this app. If they could tweak this one shortcoming, I'd rate it 5 stars.

• (2025-04-23) Nick Everson: Installed this to fix the 3 video per row bs youtube decided was a good idea. Very happy to see it solves other UI gripes I've had over the last few years as well! One thing I would LOVE to see is an option to make the channel banner smaller on channel pages. Youtube in their infinite wisdom decided it needs to take 1/2 the dang screen and not scroll.

A high schooler can make a better UI than YouTube's design team who seems to be a bunch of 90 years olds that needs an inch thick glasses to read texts on their screen.
• (2025-04-21) Josh Rath: Yesterday, YouTube decided I only needed to see a 2x4 grid of content on my homepage. Today, I had time to search around... and stumble upon this. (I miss stumbleupon...) 10/10, no notes. Fixed that problem for me in less than 10 seconds. Also proceeded to hide all the other extremely annoying BS that YouTube has added... and that is coming from someone who pays for Premium, and has, since it's inception. Thank you, random developer I just found... because your extension is a permanent addition to all my machines. If only YouTube would realize how many people HATE these changes...

• (2025-04-16) Eric Wofford: Downloaded it to fix 1 issue where YouTube decides who they want to "test" 3 video long rows (who thinks that could possibly be any sort of useful at all???) found the rest of the extension to be the best YouTube tool ever, got rid of shorts and YouTube games made the screen have no clutter. So nice.

This extension gave me to option to get back where I was with smaller thumbnails. I know it's not a big deal, but I'm not a fan of random changes. In a chaotic world it's nice to regain a little control. Thanks Dev!

I noticed mixes here and there in my feed and thought the extension reset itself or something, but it's ticked and just not working. </3 Haven't noticed any other issues besides that for now!
