Well, it doesn't work on playlist Scenario. like If I want a see if the current video in my playlist has any social media engagements the extension doesn't work, so I won't be able to see until I copy the link of the video (not the playlist!) and open it in the new window and then only I can see if there any engagements or not so please fix this! now it doesn't detect all the engagements e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN8nJFLu1Rk (tame impala song) on your extension it's only showing 3 links but I can find 8 submitted links in total on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/TameImpala/comments/i4zafr/tame_impala_is_it_true_official_video/ https://reddit.com/r/indieheads/comments/i4zb6c/fresh_video_tame_impala_is_it_true/ https://reddit.com/r/popheads/comments/i4zbrg/tame_impala_is_it_true/ https://reddit.com/r/Music/comments/i644ey/tame_impala_is_it_true_psychedelic/ https://reddit.com/r/u_radiodeejayworld/comments/ilu8ly/tame_impala_is_it_true_official_video/ why does it happen? IDK I guess that your extension only finds the exact link of the video, not the video id (e.g. v=KN8nJFLu1Rk) that's why it doesn't find if the submitted link that looks like this to the extension: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN8nJFLu1Rk&feature=em-uploademail) even though the ID is the exact same! I have other feature requests but please first fix these and then we'll tread further! - (2017-09-26, v:0.0.2) George Lubaretsi: Manual load
This extension is super cool! Thanks for the great work. I'm a bit concerned about privacy though as it sends the URL to the social sources about every page I visit. Would it be hard to implement an option that disables automatic requests and you have to click the button to look them up?
