XPress for Chrome is an intuitive whiteboarding extension for the Chrome browser. XPress enables traditional whiteboarding with a solid colored background (white, black or any color you want). Even more exciting is the ability to set background color to transparent enabling annotation over any web content displayed in your Chrome browser. Web content remains ‘live’ and you can annotate over top of it. Draw, highlight, use shapes and even drop images and live USB camera feeds on top of the web content or whiteboard page. Save your pages or copy them and paste them into other applications. Works very nicely with touch enabled laptops or Chromebooks or devices connected to touch enabled displays.

Occasionally, XPress logo bar and/or some annotation may be duplicated in whole page screenshot.

Robert Merritt 2025-01-13: This WAS a great extension! All our teachers used it daily until today. Google has removed the extension from their Chromebooks as the extension hasn't been updated. It fails to meet current requirements from Google for extensions.

Katie Regan 2016-12-09: I like the tools, but it slows Chrome down way too much. Also, the pic and webcam never came up. In class, this would take way too long for my students to use.
