• (2025-07-01) Dan Noyes: I am a productivity app junkie and have tried nearly all of them, but in the end I always felt isolated, like the tool just wasn't designed for someone like me. I'm a visual thinker and so your typical tool just didn't work for me. I was left feeling like a fish out of water. That is when I meant Milanote. Immediately I felt that the designers understood me. My thought process. My need to add structured data, but also visual references. Design inspirations. Creative perspectives. I saw that problem wasn't me, the problem was I just needed a different approach. Milanote is now my second brain.

• (2025-07-01) Jennifer Potter: I am new to Milanote and stubbled upon the Web Clipper extension for Google Chrome. So far I've only used it to save images to a board that I am using for a writing project. I am fairly happy with the extension and hope to update this review once I have more experience with Milanote and the Web Clipper and can provide more details.

• (2025-03-25) Gordon Hewitson: I recently installed Milanote after using a variety of different software, at the moment I am finding Milanote to be possibly the best that I have tried for project management. Research on the web was always copy and paste, backwards and forwards between different screens or software. It is now so easy with the web clipper extension, to copy articles, images straight into Milanote, then drag and drop into the project all within a few clicks. I would recommend that anyone who has multiple projects live at anyone time to give it a go,
• (2025-02-19) Joey: Clipping options are very limited in comparison to Evernote. I can save the entire article or, if I go into the setting to allow for text selection, I can highlight a section. The entire article is kind of pointless. I'd have to go through the whole thing to find what info I needed from it all over again. For highlighting, it helps, but it doesn't even show the full website of where it came from in Milanote. Besides, I'm perfectly capable of just copying and pasting without the clipper. Seriously, what is the point?

• (2024-09-04) bunni: It's an amazing concept. However, I was only able to use it for a week before I was out of storage. The free version offers you practically nothing, and I am not paying $10 a month just to organize notes and images, especially considering that Notion is completely free. You only get 100 items on the free plan, which includes customizing colors for some reason. Would not recommend if you are planning on organizing large detailed projects and you aren't planning on spending money.

• (2024-05-09) Kevin Holmes: Great extension very useful in helping to organise ideas. In Milanote generally the only quibble I have is the absence of a share to facility in the Android version. Works great in all other ways and this extension brings that functionality to desktop.

You have it wherever you go and can easily save content, or add a note to go back to later. This is going to be great for my research, especially as it's so easy to use and you can visualise all of your saved content, adding notes as you go along. I basically just use it as a store for any research, having a board for each topic. When browsing the web and I see an article or image I'd like to save for future reference I just click the web clipper addon, or if using my phone share to app, and then have a record of it to go back to later.

• (2023-01-12) Joseph Chukwuma: I've been using Milanote for a few months and I must say its a awesome app. As a graphic designer it really help me organise my work and future projects, the only issues I have with the app is 1 you won't fully get to experience what the app can do, unless you pay for the subscription, the free version only gives you 100 or space which I think is a bit to small for a app like this and the way it allow you to add images and references from different website is like a double egde sword, it makes it easy to add images to your profile but at the same time, the save icon kinda gets in the way on some websites, but apart from that again awesome app, definitely would recommend it for artist and graphic designer alike.
