- Simple and lightweight. There are feature-loaded gmail notification extensions out there, this one does precisely as much as I need and it does it flawlessly. Thumbs up.

- I'd like to suggest a feature. It would be ideal if users can select to only get a sound notification when new mail arrives in the inbox rather than "all mail" which includes lots of spam emails which produce distracting sound notifications.

- If it supported custom sounds it would easily earn its 5 stars! (Please add this feature?) I don't mind hearing "YOU'VE GOT MAIL" when I get an email from work though. This is a must-have extension for anyone working from home who maybe can't stay glued to their inbox or keep clicking the refresh button every 15 seconds. ;)

- This doesn't work. I set it up as described, sent myself an email from my flip phone, but no sound. I chose the AOL because it's the loudist, but this app doesn't work, at least not on my HP laptop. Would have given it a -10 but that's not an option here.

- You need the ability to select specific emails to receive the sound from. I don't necessarily want to be alerted for every single email. It's pretty useless to me without this option.

- Just what I was after. Works well on a chromebook. AOL is the one I like

- Not much to configure, just the sound you want. There are 9 different sounds plus mute. The only alert sound I can hear from across the room is the AOL mail alert.

- Can you make option to sound volume? It's too quiet. Also option to set user sound would be great.
