Eliminate employee password sharing on Post-Its, emails, chat sessions, and other insecure methods once and for all. Rippling’s built-in password manager, Rpass, makes it easy to strengthen your company’s security while ensuring users have the access they need to do their jobs.
Automate password access across the user lifecycle
* Automatically share passwords with employees based on attributes like role, location, and department using dynamic policies
* When HR hires a new employee, Rippling will automatically apply these policies and share the relevant passwords via Rpass
* Instantly revoke access and reassign passwords with one click when employees are offboarded, ensuring the security of the company vault
Store and share passwords securely
* Enable employees to safely share passwords directly from the Rpass software, which transfers them from client to client using secure enterprise-grade encrypted communication
* Customize permission policies to tightly control who can and cannot share passwords
* Passwords are stored in a zero-knowledge vault and will always stay private
Protect against phishing
* RPass will only fill passwords into the same website domain from which they were saved, protecting users from inadvertently entering passwords on a phishing site
* RPass will detect and prevent passwords from being filled on insecure HTTP sites
Access to RPass is by invitation only. If your Rippling account manager has enabled RPass on your account, go ahead and install it here.

- RPass makes storing all of my personal and company passwords super easy! It saves me every time I'm asked to enter in a password and can't remember my credentials. The extension intuitively fills in my saved passwords, making it a breeze to sign in. Without RPass, I would spend a ton of time resetting my passwords each week.

- I've found issues with using RPass from implementation to day-to-day use. The ability to generate a password is helpful and the Google extension being so accessible is nice however I'll explain the major reasons for the star rating. First, implementation was difficult as we encountered errors that weren't able to be explained by tech support. Second, when I need to copy both the username and password for a website, the extension closes after I click out of it which makes the process take longer. Third, the RPass interface in Rippling isn't easy to navigate. I wish, as a Super Admin the interface was built in a way sharing access to login credentials was the focus. Fourth, RPass doesn't always save your new password for an account, making logins inconsistent and incorrect. Fifth, setting up MFA codes is easy while sharing has been difficult. In general, to be 5 stars Rippling needs to invest in creating a better user interface for RPass within their HRIS, allow extension to stay open when copying username and password information and have implementation be easy to navigate when there are upload errors.

- Rippling RPass is a resoruceful tool to have access to to the right softwares given where I sit within the company. From an user standpoint, I never have to worry about getting access or forgetting the password. Makes it so simple for me to get into tools, the alternative is so time consuming and monotonous .

- I’ve found that Rippling’s RPass has been a great addition to the platform. It’s incredibly easy to use and takes the hassle out of managing all my different logins. I no longer have to remember multiple passwords and everything is in one place. When someone is hired or leaves, their access updates automatically, which saves me so much time. The interface is clean and simple, and the support team is always quick to help whenever questions come up. I also love that Rippling keeps rolling out new features that make my day-to-day work easier and less stressful.

- Honestly, not a bad password manager! I’ve been using Rippling’s Rpass to store and share passwords, as well as enable two-factor authentication. It’s easy to use, convenient, and makes saving credentials simple. I did run into a small issue where it didn’t scan a QR code, but Rippling’s support team was able to fix the problem within two weeks. Overall, I’m really happy with it!

- RPass is great! Love the functionality of being able to save passwords and have RPass autofill them into sites for me. Support with RPass has been excellent as well. Would recommend.

- RPass has made my job so much easier by securely storing all my login credentials in one convenient place. I no longer have to worry about forgetting passwords or spending time resetting them. The app is simple to navigate, with a clean, user-friendly interface that makes managing accounts effortless. It’s reliable, safe, and incredibly efficient — everything you’d want in a password manager. One thing that could be improved is adding more customization options for organizing credentials, such as folders or tags. This will make it easy to categorize passwords & websites based on use & need. Overall, I highly recommend RPass to anyone looking for a secure and convenient way to manage their passwords.

- On the plus side, RPass offers support for 2FA codes within the app, which is a great feature. Sharing credentials is also a very useful option. However, it does a very poor job of the basics like saving passwords and filling passwords. It doesn't auto-populate anything when you log into a new site, and the popup window is not persistent, meaning that if you switch to another tab to grab your username and come back, the popup window is closed. I have to copy my credentials to a text file and manually add them to RPass. Filling a password is just as bad, the app will almost never fill the correct password. In some cases even if you specifically click the 'open and fill' option, it opens the right link but fills a password for a totally different link. Trying to type in the username then finds nothing. This might be because the app struggles with different urls on the same domain (e.g. multiple Salesforce orgs that are all on salesforce.com but have different urls and credentials). Finally, you can't take an internal credential and make it shared, which means you have to decide up front if your credential may ever need to be shared.

- Its working perfectly fine for me and our entire company is using the rpass
- Rachel Greenberg
- RPass is so helpful for my work! Having so many platforms that multiple people from my organization need access to, this allows us all to safely share and store passwords so that our information is protected AND we don't waste time having to ask our Ops team for passwords constantly.
- Will Lam
- Works well for sharing passwords amongst peers at work and storing personal passwords in a secure way.
- Murilo Hallgren
- easy to use
- David Crnobrnja

- Leah Spero
- does what it says it does :)
- C. d'Argy
- RPass has been a great security management system for our marketing company. It makes it easy to have shared logins that are protected through the system and shared from the central hub.
- Lorraine Pettit
- Holds all my passwords super well so I never forget. Very helpful!
- Jennifer Nebeker
- This only works half the time. Needs to be updated so it's competitive with other password keepers. Not very intuitive, old school layout.
- James Gildea
- A must-have for inter-team password sharing!
- Nathan Simone
- An indispensable tool for saving logins and creating passwords among a distributed team! Love it.
- Morgan Curschman
- We migrated all of our passwords to RPass when we starting using Rippling 2 years ago. We love how easy it is to use! As soon as they allow for passwords to be shared temporarily with outside organizations, they'll have 5 stars in my books. Thats the only feature we're missing and could really benefit from having.
- Katya Stirrett
- When it works, it works fine but often need to re-sign in. A few times my passwords have been totally unavailable. Lots of bugs need to be worked out before I would recommend RPass over competitors.
- Gabriela Theunis
- I’ve been using Rippling through Google Chrome for a while now, and it works great! The interface is clean, loads quickly, and all the HR and payroll features run smoothly without any glitches. It’s super convenient to manage time off, check payslips, and handle onboarding tasks right from the browser.
- Mike Fister
- Super easy to set up your personal password vault and keep things clean. The only thing that would make this a 5 star would be keeping the authentication process consistent. There can be days were I am working and it randomly logs me out of rippling mid day.
- Leslie Perkins
- Overall I like how RPass works with Chrome and integrates into the hiring/termination processes through Rippling. It is much easier to have saved passwords role up to managers or the person taking over duties than the risk of losing everything if Bitwarden is not used, which is what we were doing.
- Caitlin Spika
- Rippling’s R-Pass has become a really strong competitor to 1Password. It’s quick, simple, and easy to use, exactly what we needed. I really like the ability to use vaults, and it’s been great being able to offer this to our employees. Overall, a very smooth and reliable tool for password management.
- Ashley Eidbo
- our whole org uses RPass. we love it and how easy it is to pass along info between teams.
- Jess Davis
- Working great so far, I like the import feature and the dedicated vaults.
- Tyler Sheeks
- Doesn't work well, doesn't work properly, prevents basic functionality.
- Drew Ranck
- The permissions on this thing are insane, sure read/write all data on all websites I visit, fantastic!
- Colton Lynch
- RPass is great for storing passwords. I wish I didn't have to login to rippling then rpass again after I've already validated with the same authenticator token.
- Shikha Rawat
- Quiet useful to manage passwords both work and personal.
- Sofia Ruozzi
- RPass symbol populates on ALL text fields which is a huge pain.
- Bryan Wisda
- The new upgrade doesn't work. You can't login to Rpass through the Chrome Extension.
- Anthony Baldwin
- How can I disable autofill...for ALL sites? This is a pain for testers/dev that happen to be forced to use this extension.
- Todd Sutter
- New complete rework update now it doesn't even work half of the time
- Melissa Lilly
- Bare minumum password holder. Needs improvment to keep up with other tools.
- Richard CONNELL
- horrible, hard to work with
- Steven
- Causes problems with page performance and has started overlaying invisible windows on the top right of websites so you cannot interact with part of your website. Contacting support also requires you be a Company Admin, not a good user experience.
- Chase Hazelwood
- Bare minimum but works
- Adam Burnett
- Pick the absolute bare minimum you would expect from a password manager and this is it.
- Van Duc Nguyen
- It is slow and unresponsive. Additionally, the search functionality is poor, as it struggles to return matches for words located in the middle of text.
- Vasudev Krishnan
- Rpass password management is buggy. not very user friendly. There is a big GAP in making the user aware of, what happens when they confirm an action.
- Mathew Jung
- This app is not feature complete. We will continue to use 1Password.
- Allen Hancock
- Hard to tell how to see all the notes which are inside any given entry. Window closes when I wasn't expecting it to, causing me to start over. Garbage.
- Shaun Richardson
- Quite possibly the poorest password manager I've seen. I was told it could replace 1pass, NO WAY, it doesn't even support MFA codes or custom fields. Apple's new password manager that came with iOS 18 is way better and it's FREE.
