Notifies you of updates to Homestuck.com (such as The Epilogues) & keeps track of your progress.
Automatically tracks your spot as you read through Homestuck (or any other story on that site: Problem Sleuth, The Homestuck Epilogues, etc.) and brings you back to the last page you've read at the click of a button. No more needing to edit bookmarks manually, or struggling to remember your last page when you forgot to edit the bookmark.
It will also pop-up a notification whenever there is a new update on Homestuck.com. If there are ever any additions to the epilogues, or if a brand new story gets posted, you'll know right away with this extension!
On the Options page, you can:
- turn notifications on or off
- upload a custom notification icon
- upload a custom sound clip to play when there are updates
- turn the page count on or off (if enabled, the button in the toolbar will show how many pages you have left to read)

This extension was previously called "MSPA Notifier" back when Homestuck could be found on MSPaintAdventures.com.

- (2019-12-30) That One Snazzy Artist: Heya..this extension has served an amazing purpose, and it should continue to do so with homestuck^2. for some reason homestuck^2 (a direct continuation of the candy route (that frequently jumps into the meat timeline) of the..gonna butcher the spelling, epilogues.) isnt connected to the homestuck site directly, but it would still serve a great purpose if the notifyer worked with that to! (since it will be updated over tim just like homestuck and the epilogues.)
- (2019-11-23) Rose Lalonde: Will it be updated so it'll work for Homestuck 2? This would be very useful.
- (2019-11-22) Alex Mercer: I just downloaded it hoping for a patch for homestuck2.com
- (2019-04-14) Isla Davies: i just downloaded this ready for the epilogues and even though it doesn't seem to work on homestuck.com i'm still keeping it. giving it 5 stars because i know it's worked in the past
- (2017-03-16) c1rcuitry: it notified me of the new update that came out today, and i will keep it forever so i can be able to see any new updates (if there are any). this has been quite the adventure and our heroes are all grown up Edit: a while may have passed but I can't bring myself to get rid of the notifier from my chrome... too many memories haha

- (2016-04-14) Kirstin JW. Wilkinson: This app has been very helpful. I started reading Homestuck near the end of the Gigapause and I love this app. Thank you for this app.
- (2016-04-13) Rey Nicholson: Homestuck is over. This app has served me well over the years and years I have used it. Setting a different notification sound between updates to surprise me when Hussie finally updated the comic was incredible, and I have used it more than probably any other app I own. Thank you, developers, for keeping me, and countless others, updated on our favourite comic. Thank you.
- (2016-04-13) S R: hey - thank you for everything.
- (2016-03-29) Betsy Hanes Perry: This seems to be broken as of the 3/29 update. It shows me as having -16 pages to read although I've finished the whole thing, and it doesn't have a sound file or icon to play when the update goes live.
- (2015-09-06) I need backup upon backup keeping me notified in case the omegapause ends early. RSS feeds, upd8 ninja, and this plugin all work together to ensure I don't miss it by a second. It's pretty cool!
- (2015-07-09) Haley Bennett: so mazin. jus so so mazin
- (2015-01-05) Haley Gosnell: works very well! Even though Im not caught up, Its awesome! (I set the alarm for when it updates to the super mario bros. theme >3< )

- (2014-12-29) Liam Loubris (Spodeian): I have found this very useful to keep track of what page I am on due to it's simplicity.
- (2014-12-24) Norblorb: I don't understand the little gun guy thing but I overall think it's extremely useful
- (2014-12-13) Tricia Morris: Very helpful, actually
- (2014-12-10) Eric Vilas: Works perfectly, except for one thing... the "Mark as last read" doesn't really work. I checked the firefly format on page 777777 (the one he uses to test formats) and it marked that as my "last read" and I couldn't change it back.I had to reinstall it for it to work properly again. EDIT: there are 2 different places to set something as the last page. One is by right-clicking the page (works) and the other is by right-clicking the icon (doesn't work)
- (2014-11-06) Hunter “Rook” Elliot: Works very well-- one question though, when the icon changes to the MSPA Reader with a gun-- what does that mean? The pumpkin is obvious.
- (2014-11-05) Crystal Granger: OMG! So needed now that the gigapause is over and he is updating regularly again! Thank you so much! Works awesome! A must for all Homestuck fans who don't want to miss an update!
