- The simplicity and integration with chrome browser is a plus and I use this everyday. Just writing it down on tasks offloads mental RAM and ticking off the ones that are done, gives that tiny dopamine boost every human being craves for!

- I have been using this app for years. Several times tried using the Google version, but it does not work as well. Oher apps did not cover my needs either. I use it constantly for various task lists that group pending activities in different projects and areas of my life and activities. It lets me organize a lot of information with each task list, task and details as levels to group, describe and add additional information for each task. I sort tasks using the six dot handle, depending on changing priorities. It would be great to be able to move the lists themselves in a similar way. Various formats to print or print to an image or table would be useful.

- UPDATE 06/11/2025 Beware - I paid for a lifetime subscription several years ago because I was in the top 10% of users. Suddenly, last week, the app started asking for payments again and locked me out except for one list. I had to pay again to get it working because I never got a receipt for the first payment. I paid again, and it started working again. This time, I received a receipt and will be sure to save it where I can find it. This extension makes using Tasks much easier. I like the fact that it is full screen. This is where I go to edit Tasks, rearrange tasks in the order I need to do them, and keep them on my desktop. Search is now enabled, but you cannot move a task to another list until the search box is cleared. Currently, I use two other apps to access, organize, and visualize my tasks. aCalendar for my Android phone, and TaskBoard to search and move tasks to and from other lists into a project view.

- Have used it everyday for two years - fantastic for capturing quick notes, creating backlogs etc. They say that if you can't manage a business with just pen and paper then you can't manage it with anything - but I'd add this to the list!

- Has the same UX problem as default Google tasks app: Moves completed items to a separate list, requiring extra clicks to view them, no option for it not to have this behavior. This is a deal breaker for me, needed to remove.

- I use this all of the time but recently have been asked for payment. Is this a scam. I went to pay and then worried that it was a scam since I had not seen it before. Now it seems to pop up once in a while. Maybe I should find an alternative.

- Can't do without this app for my biz! I use this for brainstorming and planning for my business. I was tired of sticky notes all over the place and I love that I can go back and see what I've completed.

- If I save an email as a task, that email might completely disappear b/c it doesn't actually turn the email into an attachment. So I have had many tasks months into the future (which is why I needed to create a task in the first place) and when the time came to do it, the email could no longer be accessed. Also no reminders available. Functionality is just simply not robust.

- Overall excellent app. It would be so much better if I was able to share (or delegate) tasks to other users of the app as with Docs and Sheets. I really like the integration with Google Calendar and the synching between the Web Browser version and the iPhone app version. Overall brilliant but could be stellar.

- Such a good app, genuinely useful especially when you have plenty of things to do and can't switch all the time between your phone's tasks app and work on computer. Also I would recommend adding other themes and correct colors on black theme to darker ones. Thanks a lot!

- I have been using Desktop Reminder 3 for years but it has limited functions. I stumbled across Google Tasks but thought of it as a token gesture. The more I used it the better I liked it. I particularly like being able to change task priority order using drag and drop. It was even better when I realised that I could install it on my PC and sync it to my mobile. There may be room for improvements but it suits me down to the ground!

- Very little to no advantage. It allows a full screen view of completed tasks without any details. It doesn't show upcoming tasks or complete details of a given task. Basically, it is useless!!!

- Looks good! One issue - I can't see how to Star a task or to specifically view Starred tasks. Is this possible?

- This review is for the Chrome extension; as far as I can tell it has a much reduced feature set than the Andriod version. For example it doesn't seem possible to enter tasks that repeat.

- Great addition to google Calender and Keep but i miss one crutial funktion. The ability to see and change repetition of tasks when i search for a given task. Since the search funktion is not available on Tasks in Calender directly, this would certantly help. Thanks

- Very nice app. Simple yet impactful. Missing one star due to the limitation of not being able to modify tasks associated with an email in the app. It is necessary to modify within Google Tasks.

- So badly want to use this (love the design) but it does not bring over tasks that were assigned in google docs (such as meeting minutes). these appear in the tasks side bar, but do not come over to the plugin.

- Would like the ability to add time to do task and have tasks listed in the time order for the day. I use Google Tasks intensively and I LOVE that this extension gives me the ability to enter them on a full page layout.
