F.Block Sponsored is a lightweight and straightforward ad blocker designed specifically for Facebook™, targeting sponsored posts, suggested posts, and video banner ads. This extension works across all languages available on Facebook™, including its mobile website.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Facebook™ consistently attempts to counteract ad blockers, causing this extension to occasionally stop functioning. In such cases, please await an update from F.Block Sponsored. Typically, updates are released within 1 to 2 days.
This project began as a personal hobby to eliminate irritating ads; however, I found myself committed to maintaining it for everyone who uses it, regardless of the effort and time I invest. - It does block the sponsered ads but it freezes the scrolling on my Facebook feed on Chrome browser. If this gets corrected I will give it a better review.

- Facebook feed froze for a minute while sponsored content posted/deleted, posted/deleted, posted/deleted at least 20 times. Facebook eventually won. Uninstalled.

- usually pretty good. since this addon is free and doesnt collect our data, facebook is pretty much always able to afford designing their website in worse and more convoluted ways specifically to stop adblockers from working as intended. i understand that it's basically impossible for a few devs or a solo dev to compete with such a massive corporation, so i expect it to stop working about once a week or so, or some new problem with it. that is not the dev's fault, and they are doing very noble work from what i can see. because it only works a good 4/5 of the time, i can't give it 5 stars, but for a free service you arent going to get much better than this. thanks fblock!

- I just installed this, cleared my Chrome browsing data, and hopped on FB. I can't believe it actually works. The amount of 'Sponsored Ads' on Facebook was getting absolutely ridiculous. I'm talking like every other post, sometimes even 3 or 4 posts in a row were 'Sponsored Ads'. I hope this extension stays updated and keeps doing what it's doing because I was seriously thinking of abandoning FB.

- Unfortunately this no longer works - was great for weeks but now I'm getting up to 4 in a row of annoying sponsored rubbish. Removing it, what a shame.
