- (2021-08-22) ce ce: To explain to those what this does (and doesn't do): Google SERP (Search Engines Results Pages) Date & Time vertical drop down Default filter Any time Past hour Past 24 hours Past week Past month Past year _______________ Custom range... Google Search date range shortcut (Chrome Web Store extension) Offered by: sweet Version 0.2.4 Updated March 19, 2021 Size 29.45KiB https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-search-date-range/nnncnafimiibjpndjnomejlbjbpmdcmf Adds the following by default to a vertical drop down list Past 3 months Past 6 months Past 18 months So in addition to Google SERP Date & Time vertical drop down Default filter & immediately upon installation of Google Search date range shortcut (sweet) extension you will have a vertical drop down list right out of the box as such: Any time Past hour Past 24 hours Past week Past month Past 3 months Past 6 months Past year Past 18 months _______________ Custom range... You can also customize the extension to add your own set of dates & times (any # of hours, days, weeks, months & years) search parameters by right clicking your mouse button on the extensions icon in the Browser's Extension toolbar & selecting Extension options. With that option/setting you can add additional such as Past 2 hours Past 3 hours Past X hours Past 2 days Past 3 days Past X days Past 2 weeks Past 3 weeks Past X weeks Past 2 months Past 3 months Past X months Past 2 years Past 3 years Past X years X = whatever # you like (Please note that any integer/number *Value must be greater than or equal to 2.) You can also remove any date or time in the options page then manually add them back in An additional feature of this extension is to automatically sort your custom dates & time chronologically no matter if you set a # of years/months/weeks/days/hours first then later decide to add a shorter date or time period. It will automatically organize them in the logical format which is chronologically This will temporarily hide the About ###,###,### results (#.## seconds) Although a minor inconvenience (takes an extra click ;) to see the Total amount/number # of results again click on the TOOLS button next to the search filters which will switch/toggle back & forth between the Date & Time filter and the Total amount/number # of results again. You can press it unlimited amount of times If those extra clicks to toggle back & forth annoy you & you would like to ALWAYS see (have visible) the Total amount/number # of results there is another extension Google Search by Time/Date Offered by: Erik Johansson Version 0.3.2 Updated June 1, 2021 Size 12.71KiB https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-search-by-timedate/mchncdgncchoolmnjicpddhkmgebjopg/ HOWEVER the Total amount/number # of results will be abbreviated to: ~ ###.#M instead of being able to see About ###,###,### results (#.## seconds) The other extension also only adds 6 months & 2 years and will be located horizontally across the web page as such All 1h 1d 7d 1m 6m 1y 2y The alternative extension also does NOT have an Options page where you can manually add different dates & times as this one does making this extension far superior

- (2020-11-21) Mathias: How could Google leave their search by date range so long without ever improving it. Damn useful extension mate. And frequently updated to work after some google updates. Thanks for the hard work you put in this !
- (2020-11-12) Mark Joseph: I have used this extension for a while, and I have been pleased with it. The standard Google search ranges—Past Hour, Past Day, Past Week, Past Month, and Past Year—are unnecessarily limiting. I have found Past Three Months, Past Six Months, Past Three Years, Past Five Years, etc., quite useful. I will note that, as of today, 11/12/20, the extension appears not to be working for me on Windows 10 20H2 Build 19042.630. I assume this is related to a recent Chrome update or Windows update. I hope it fixes soon, but, regardless, thank you for making it.

- (2020-03-09) Stanton McCandlish: It does do what it claims to, but at a cost: it hides the results count (e.g. "About 42,400 results (0.66 seconds)"), which is not acceptable. Another extension like this does not, so I switched to it.
