  • (2023-06-18) Dan Ofek: Extremely useful and the only one that works properly, except for the basic users options, which is unfortunate, since it includes the dev option in it and gives something extra. It works sometimes, but very not consistent. The dev option so far works great. Thanks!
  • (2023-05-15) Nikola K.: For the last couple of years, this is among my top 3 extensions that get installed first when I change computers or browser profiles. Loved it from day one.
  • (2023-04-25) jiri vesely: Switching multiple tabs back doesnt work when i enabled #2 option and use suggested hotkey like alt+s! And if i set it in chrome works only 2 back... EDIT: oh i realized it might not work on this hotkey alt+c works like charm. Best extension no one others works, dev is genius just by virtue all other are moronic beyond belief and don't work at all... Better other hotkey yet alt+c bugs on some sites... IT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER IF YOU COULD MOVE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS BUT YOU CAN CLICK ON IT, WHICH IS FINE BY ME!
  • (2023-03-06) dan smith: Nothing happens when I press the shortcut key assigned to Usage #2. I get this error in the console: background.js:124 Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'windowId') at background.js:124:37 at Array.filter (<anonymous>) at background.js:123:31
  • (2022-11-29) Raul Ginematic: Simple and really speeds up the work process! Love it!
  • (2022-08-25) Dave Row: Why is this not a native Chrome feature? Nice job!
  • (2022-07-09) tabliqat chi: Doesn't work. CTRL+Q shows an empty list even when I have multiple tabs open and I've visited multiple of them before pressing CTRL+Q.
  • (2022-01-26) wylq ashq: Amazing. Thank you.
  • (2022-01-26) bui thang: It worked immediately for me in Chrome and Edge. go to chrome(or edge)://extensions/shortcuts, find the Recent Tabs and assign shortcut by pressing Alt + Q. Sometimes it failed with multiple same-profile-windows.
  • (2022-01-06) Maksim Makarov: All good! thx
  • (2021-12-23) Roman K: I can't assign a switching command to Chrome's keyboard shortcuts, because it does this action. is there any way to do this?
  • (2021-12-13) Shahriar Sajib: It works fine in my MacOS but when in Linux, it works only for some certain sites. I have tried all combinations including the 2nd usage option but nothing seems to be working.
  • (2021-10-30) Quan Nguyen Minh: 30Oct2021: now I can not use it with "Alt+Q" any more. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. 23Mar2019: FOR WHOM CAN NOT USE THIS EXTENSION: You MUST assign shortcut for it to dual switch between 2 recent tabs. Go to Menu> More tools> Extensions... Click left-top 3 dashes> Keyboard shortcut --> Find extension and assign shortcut (Ctrl+Q)
  • (2021-09-09) Benjamin Smith: This extension does not work well. I am using chrome 93. The hotkey to switch among recent tabs often just doesn't work (the tab list doesn't come up and it doesn't switch to a different tab). And when it does work, half the time it doesn't correctly switch the the most recent tab - I press the hotkey once and it skips over many recent tabs.
  • (2021-08-22) אליאב לוסקי: works great
  • (2021-07-25) Jason Burns: Loving it as im FINALLY able to switch back and forth easily between my current tab and my last tab. I use Ctrl + Shift + L(Last). And using in the 'Dev' mode. No issues so far. Thank you very much. If there is a donation page, i'll be making one as it saves me time.
  • (2021-07-21) Sudhakar Chintapalli: Extremely useful and increases productivity. Thank you @jasonsavard 😊🙏🏽
  • (2021-06-02) Yizhao Lang: Is this extension hacked? Since April 2021 it suddenly require ton more permissions without a change log. Very suspicious to me...
  • (2021-05-30) Hristo Kolev: Worked awesome for years. now it's unusable
  • (2021-05-25) William L'Archevêque: CTRL+Q should be working similarly as CTRL+P in Visual Code where it goes to the most recent tab loaded. When I press CTRL+Q it seems ot be randomly choosing a tab...
  • (2021-05-18) Saurabh Chauhan: Doesn't work when new tabs are opened using Ctrl+T : ( Otherwise it's perfect
  • (2021-05-16) Michal Poremba: Why after update it needs extensive permission "read and change all your data on websites you visit" ?
  • (2021-05-04) Will Ashley: You broke the extension. It has some severely wonky behavior recently. I only use it for the "developer" setting, AKA going back and forth between the last two recent tabs. I literally cannot predict where it's going to go most of the time I activate it. Sometimes I will have literally just two tabs open, and click on one, then on the other, then activate the extension thinking it should take me back, and it just does nothing. Add one more tab and it gets utterly unusable. The extension can't seem to keep track of the last visited tab, and does it count using the extension as "visiting" a tab? God this is such a trainwreck. Pull this extension until you fix it.
  • (2021-04-20) Markus Meyer: fine ... need to check most recent permission changes!!
  • (2021-04-20) Mahmoud Shahoud: It was great. Yesterday I got an update and more permissions requests. That permission isn't necessary and explores more personal data. I replaced it with another trusted one 'QuicKey – The quick tab switcher' & it's open source. It has more features also. 3 stars for the service I got till yesterday.
  • (2021-04-19) Steffen Leistad: Been using this for a long while, as a developer this is a godsend. But it got updated automatically when I opened Chrome just now, and now it doesn't work? Will up the stars to 5 again when it works again.
  • (2021-04-19) Bruce Wong: It keeps getting better. An example is the options documentation. Also, the developer responded quickly to help me understand a chrome quirk that seemed alarming to me when it was actually harmless.
  • (2021-04-19) J. Jektvik: It's worked well so far. I'm curious why did the Site access permission request appear after the latest update?
  • (2021-04-18) David Kind: I love this extension, HOWEVER, the permissions it asks for are not reasonable. You're gambling big time if you install this.
  • (2021-04-08) Tim Chen: 4.5 it is very good, but sometimes it is disabled by itself. I leave the browser open all night. Needs to turn the extension on and off to fix that. (Does not want to restart Chrome as to keep all the tabs). It is better to have a button to reset, kinda, if not easy to fix.
  • (2021-04-05) Alexey Yegupоv: works ok before but now is very unstable (stopped switching recent grouped and suspended tabs)
  • (2021-02-20) Ellis Garvin: Didn't work.
  • (2021-01-18) Aaron Mclean: Works great! I use alt-q to switch chrome tabs. Try reloading Chrome or rebooting before using.
  • (2020-11-17) Byron: Awesome! The fact that Chrome has been lacking this functionality for so long has made me so mad. Thank you for adding it! Once thing to note - the Keyboard Shortcut options has moved from where the extension's description says it is. It is now in a hamburger menu at the top-left of the Extensions area.
  • (2020-11-13) Rikza Mudhofar: not working in chrome 86
  • (2020-08-11) AnarchoTak: works well... with tinkering
