  • (2019-11-09) Steven Wang: Helpful tool, but i wish that the tab list was visually grouped by which window the tabs are from (and that the active window's tabs would appear on top of the list) when "list tabs from all windows" is selected.
  • (2019-10-26) Shanmugam Udhaya: used it to check how many tabs i am on, currently at 92 boys
  • (2019-05-12) Tony Roger: Hi, checked the "Detect and prompt duplicate tab creation." once, then found it's not what i want later, then uncheck it back, but it just auto-checked back by itself automatically, even after i reboot my laptop. environment: windows7 64 bit chrome: Version 74.0.3729.131 (Official Build) (64-bit) thanks.
  • (2018-09-13) Numan Syed: Fabulous counter and controller! Loved it! Resets the counter on opening and closing of tabs. Shows the list properly. You need to restart the browser to take effect. Otherwise doesn't do things as expected! One thing I'd really like to have on it though, should have an option to exclude the pinned tabs! And 'pin'ning from the list would definitely be an overstretch but very much recommended to have. So all in all -- absolutely great addition to extension library. Wishlist -- exclusion of pinned tabs, & pin from the list shown, separation of pinned tabs with a line.
  • (2018-07-03) eka lavya: List and count of oen tabs does that.
  • (2018-01-05) Souvik Roy: "Tabs in this window" do not work perfectly
  • (2017-12-02) William Baxter: This was perfect, because I needed the tab counter, and the "Prompt duplicate tab" function. But after a while it stopped being useful, and just became annoying. And then I discovered I couldn't turn it off!
  • (2017-10-11) Allan Laal: a bit bloated, but the only tab counter plugin that actually shows the true count of tabs (the others are currently off by "just" 1800 tabs) https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tab-counter/feeoiklfggbaibpdhkkngbpkppdmcjal is better
  • (2017-08-17) James A: This is great. With a few improvements could be the best and most useful extension on here: Switch to duplicate tab function not so useful. Problem turning off the duplicate tab creation check had to reinstall to disable it. Number of tabs on the icon too small. Try to build in a full duplicate tab remove function. Do away with the grey icon and just have a big easy to read number for the number of tabs and next to it have a red one that counts duplicates. When clicking the blue number opens like it does now and clicking the red shows the duplicates with an option of when clicked removes all duplicates. Or just have the number of tabs and when clicking it shows how many duplicates with an option to remove them in the menu.
  • (2017-07-17) Logan L: I love this! It does exactly what it says it does and does it well, and accidentally closing tabs with it is very difficult. Also, if you DO somehow manage to do that, it's compatible with Ctrl+Shift+T, making it no problem at all!! Although, it does lack in options for how it looks. I would love to be able to change things such as the colours, font, size, etc. For this reason, I've only given it 4 stars. but if you are the kind of person that does not care about customisation, this is the perfect extension for keeping track of open tabs!
  • (2017-02-01) Warmuser: Doesn't count correctly the opened tabs.. on the latest Yandex version.
  • (2017-01-27) Haran G: Exactly wut it ses on the TIN.
  • (2016-10-07) Ferenc Szabo: It says saved, but actually it cannot remember I want to turn off "Detect and prompt duplicate tab creation." feature. Otherwise, this extension would do exactly what I need.
  • (2016-05-25) Tom Davidson: Would be good to have the options to be able to display the number of windows and number of tabs open in the toolbar button. Perhaps a list of windows and their tab counts so you can more easily find those windows with a single tab to get rid of.
  • (2015-12-02) Erik Binggeser: Counts all tabs, not tabs of current window, even when the option is selected to do so.
  • (2015-10-04) Piotr Wohlert: Macht was ich mir erhofft habe ! Einfaches Design, simple Liste mit den offenen Tabs.
  • (2015-07-23) Bryan Dehn: Tab Count works great! Would give five stars if it could simultaneously display both tabs in current window and total--something like 12/53. Still a good extension though. I've used it for months.
  • (2015-02-03) stephan schreiber: Amazing, you can even close tabs easily
  • (2014-06-18) Super. Le meilleur et le plus pratique.
  • (2013-04-15) Moo Scree: Only one that seems to work right these days.

Hi, my name is Ayden and I am working on developing a tab manager extension and was wondering if I could use some of your code because I am fairly new to js and would love if i could use your code to improve my extension
  • (2020-06-12, v:2.8) Mark Krieger: "Detect and prompt duplicate tab creation." not for New Tab
I love the extension, but it would be great to be able to exclude new "blank" tabs from "Detect and prompt duplicate tab creation.". I often use these as separators in a window, so whenever I open a new tab it asks me to switch :(
  • (2019-08-22, v:2.8) Frank Zoltan Perlaky: Locks up system

  • (2018-09-06, v:2.8) Richard Wood: Tab with audio; separate windows in list
In [very] extreme circumstances, it can be hard to find the tab with audio playing just by looking at the horizontal tab headings. Can you display an icon showing which is doing that? Also, I often have a set of tabs open in multiple virtual spaces, and on multiple monitors. A breakdown that shows what is where … if it isn't too much effort?
  • (2018-01-05, v:2.8) Thumbnails
If you could add thumbnails of the tabs that are open that would be amazing! Maybe even on rollover the thumbnails could double or triple in size to show what that tab is in case the description isn't sufficient. thanks!
  • (2018-01-05, v:2.8) Make the window taller
Love this so far as it lets me see the full names of all the open tabs. I really wish though it knew I have a very tall screen and there is no need to cause the scrollbar to show up at 530px tall as it makes me have to scroll the window to see all the tabs. Ideally I want to see all of them in one list so I can find possible duplicates. Otherwise it's super useful!
  • (2017-10-03, v:2.8) Felix Neumann: Display tabs in current window in icon
When clicking the icon, the number of tabs in the current window is shown, which is my most important use case for this extension. Would it be possible to add an option to display this number instead of the overall number of tabs on the icon?
  • (2016-12-17, v:2.8) Visibility of tab count number
Ever since the switch to chrome's new Material Design UI, the number of tabs is in a blue box instead of red, and appears to be smaller overall. This makes the number nearly unreadable at a glance, thus ruining the entire point of the tab count extension.
