I used it to create an onboarding document for our new platform, and it took me less than 20 minutes to learn the tool and produce a polished, shareable guide—all on the free account . Use to work amazing now it stays stuck on Start recording and is nearly impossible to stop a recording. Tried 3 times uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache and restarted nada. Once its finally stopped at least 50 extra steps are added on from trying to stop it

Scribe is a nice tool but there is room for improvement. The capture can lag a bit and miss certain clicks or fields, which can be edited and updated after the fact. There some settings that I would like to be able to customize before I want to pay for this but it has been helpful, so I may still.

This site is AWESOME for modeling how to navigate through any tutorial. Our school has so many different systems and it is vital to provide visuals! You just click and it captures all the steps, and the best part is that you can edit and share within minutes for free.

Probably one of the easiest and most efficient workflow tutorial tool to use out there. Used Scribe to teach students the onboarding process to our company online platform and it took me less than 20 minutes to learn and create a detailed document to share. I have found this product really invaluable. We have a distributed staff and student population, and this is quickly becoming my 'go to' for demonstrating to both sets of people 'How to do' type instructions; from accessing systems to making video presentations. FIrstly, it does what it says on the can, but also offers flexibility to replace images with screenshots (if that's appropriate, or if certain steps are hidden from view). Secondly, as the original document sits in a cloud account, updating and edits are simple and reissuing workflows unneeded - the link stays the same. It has saved me a lot of time and effort. It is simple and intuitive to use, and making tweaks to the finished document has been really easy. I'm unlikely to make screen capture videos again!

I found out about Scribe from Instagram when I was doom-scrolling, but the moment I saw this, I knew I needed to try it out. I immediately got a free account, added the extension to my Chrome, and used it to capture one of the processes I use on a daily basis. And I loved it! It was a very simple thing; I didn't need to actively do anything for capturing the process except clicking on the 'capture now' button. Scribe did the rest for me. And when I clicked on share now, I got the option to either share the process as it is or send it in a video or slides version. This is a really cool feature, especially for people who don't like reading (personally, I'm a fan of the written word, but a lot of the people in my workplace aren't). The only thing I'd say was a bit of a con was that every step had a 'click on' beginning phrase. It got repetitive after the first couple of times. Still, because the process can be edited later (both the written steps, deleting the things you don't want to show anyone else, moving steps around, or even combining steps), I could just change the written word - and even explain the background context for the steps if I wanted.

I've been an Instructional Designer for 25 years. While the concept of this product is good and seems easy to use, they do not allow a full demonstration to see the 'pro' version at work. I'm not willing to pay for a month to see if this product meets my needs. Right off the bat, sensitive data was allowed in the capture and the personal version has no way to change. I get the fact the company limits personal use, I have no issue with that, but if you're trying to sell your product, best to have options for people in my position to try it out.

Now I can create an even better version in a matter of minutes. I love that it autogenerates the description of the step, but you can change the wording to match what you want it to say. this application is very good for the purpose that it serves, but I was basically looking for something similar but advanced, I wanted this app to integrate to Zephyr scale - it already integrated with Confluence, it would do alot good if it could be connected to zephyr scale. Please do this!!!

I have saved a lot of time - I was using a combination of Google Docs, Zoom, Vimeo, and BombBomb to get the results that Scribe gives me. I am saving so much time. I was just using the free version which was working but now that I have heard feedback from my teams (I am a Marketing & Tech Trainer who is constantly showing how to use systems, training on workflows, etc.), I have coordinated with our Tech & IT Director to upgrade to Premium so we can both start using it! I love Scribe!

I have the free version of Scribe and it has been fantastic. Any time a new process or system change occurs it is so convenient to have step by step directions - with pictures! It makes it so much easier to follow along and learn the process. Also extremely helpful for those that aren't so technologically inclined so they can see exactly where on the screen they should be clicking and navigating to.

I have the free version of Scribe. I work in a school where I often have to teach new teachers how to access reports, set up online tests, and other similar tasks. Using Scribe makes it easy for me to go through the information once and then go back and edit as needed. When you click the mouse on a page, it takes a screenshot with a target where you clicked and AI generates a short description. The comments are easy to edit so I can add details and explanations, and if I click on the wrong thing it's easy to delete that step in the editing process (quite unlike trying to create a video!). It has saved me a lot of time.

I do not see the option to turn on voice transcription under the browser extension. I have the Pro individual plan so this should be an option and this is why I paid for it. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the extension after upgrading to the Pro plan and still only see the option to "Start Capture". I don't see what is being mentioned in the help center.

Loving this app for helping teachers figure out new technology. The only thing I wish I could do is blur the screen with the free version. Data privacy is very important in schools and it would be nice if I could have this feature without having to pay for it. This limits me from recommending the extension to others, as pretty much everyone I work with would need the screen blur feature and I don't want them to spend their own money.
