- Based on 5 minutes of use, this is a game changer.

- I have only just begun to use this but it is reinforcing what i know and helping with new verb tense in particular and it's entertaining!
- Brian Sands
- Got it working but it only has limited shows in my target language. It does not work with audio dubbing in another language. Hopefully they will work on that. Only 5 shows on Netflix rn but it is awesome and I expect more titles in the future.

- I have thoroughly enjoyed watching "Crooks" in German while using Lingopie. The joyful experience and the amount of knowledge I have consumed has been amazing. I have other things that I intend to watch in German via Lingopie extension with Netflix for instance the documentary called "Merkel". Furthermore, going forward this service also offers possibilities for me to learn other languages for example French in the future. If I were to give one small area for improvement it would be that Lingopie adds Ukrainian to their list of languages that they offer. because I am currently a B2 student of German and an A1 student of Ukrainian.

- Excellent tool to learn with. It makes learning fun and natural. I look forward to improving my Italian language and cultural knowledge using Lingopie. It is my go to tool in addition to live tutoring.

- I think it's wonderful. You get out of it what you put into it. I've been listening to Spanish music and watching Spanish videos for sometime but there's always a few phrases or words that escape me and sometimes the whole context of a paragraph or lyric. With LingoPie I can click on a word or phrase or ask for an explanation of a term, phrase, sentence. Something you can't do when watching videos directly on youtube, for example. It also syncs with Netflix and Disney+ so shows from those collections can be viewed in the same learning mode. The one bad thing is LingoPie does not work with Apple TV, so you need another streaming service or resort to Airplay which does not have the ease of the interaction with the app, or just stick to using your phone or laptop.

- This generally works great. One massive improvement would be to be able to split phrases apart to save individual words. For example, in one episode, I am only able to save the entire phrase "no se abren las ventanas". I'd prefer to just save "se abren" without "no" and without "las ventanas". So, not perfect, but extremely helpful and useful.

- There are little things that I find it annoying. But it's okay, not so bad.

- Awesome!! For anyone just looking at the extension: You need a netflix or disney plus subscription, and a subscription (or free trial) to Lingopie. [Lingopie:] ->You get 13 languages for the sub, I was expecting to pay for each language so that was a great surprise; and really useful for me as someone building up vocab in a couple languages. -> It's so useful both because of the fact you can use it for any show/ a wide range of subscriptions, but mainly because it has the direct word/phrase to translation feature, colour-coded sentence structure, and grammar insights- those have been kind of gamechanging for me personally, in understanding how the grammar works/ how it's different and how it normally shows up. It familiarises me with the grammar both audibly and written. Which is mainly why I like it more than the vocab. -> Although I do love how vocab through shows let's me actually build a list of the words I want to learn at my level or focus, instead of trying to go through a topic or a dictionary. -> The fact it has exclusive content, and music/podcasts/audiobooks as well was actually wild for the price. (And the discord community is pretty neat). I got a lifetime subscription during one of their sales and truly one of the best value for money purchases I've made in a while. [Extension:] This extension specifically works pretty well, although the subs are a little fast, while the autopause is too clunky. I love the colour coding & grammar insights, the quiz is nice, and the fact you can see the whole script when you want is actually a personal favourite. Not sure how to turn off the voice that announces any word you add to your vocab list though, (and I wonder if the script could highlight every instance of a specific word in future?). I love that you can turn it on/off, so you can just watch it normally if you'd like, and that you can turn the pop quiz on/off too. Very intuitive, good design made for people to learn how they learn instead of feeling like a teacher or textbook. Really one of my favourite apps, and the extension is great so far.

- I'm impressed with the experience so far. The four stars given in this review might be conservative, but I'm holding back a bit at the moment since I've yet to fully use the offered services. Still, I can see that this is a needed addition to my toolbox and am looking forward to the time to be spent in using it.

- Very easy to use to identify and save words that aren't familiar. Very nice service and extension.
- Samantha W
- This is exactly the sort of language help I have been needing. I love that I can watch Netflix and Disney while learning. I'm stoked about this actually.
- Liya Kharitonova
- I really hate apps with paywall before i try
- Morgan Wetzel
- Is very easy to link to netflix and lets you watch shows and translate the words you are stuck on automatically. I like this because I get the chance to go back and look at the words I didn't know and practice them but also get to continue a show and not have to pause forever to look up a word or just guess what it means and hope that I'm right. It is definitely worth the subscription if you really want to learn a language.
- Karl Belgum
- Completely confusing and not user friendly.
- Charlotte Chase
- 100% worth the subscription, I'm genuinely making progress in my language learning and its so helpful to fill in some of the gaps that can occur when trying to teach yourself a language. And being able to link Netflix or other subscriptions to your lingopie account makes it even better. I can't recommend it enough
- Tyler Ferris

- Jake Cross
- Works great. Changes the game. JUST WISH IT WORKED ON MOBILE TOO!
- Tom O'Keefe
- Excellent tool to learn any language. It provides film, short stories, vocabulary exercises and other modes to enable you to absorb the language through multi-media
- Benjamin Velazquez
- It's been very quick and easy to use. I like that you can watch shows that you are genuinely interested in seeing while learning a new language. I just started watching the mandalorian in german.
- Amal Mathew
- Awsome tool to learn a language. I am learning german with this. The best way to learn is to subscribe to netflix and disney with the lingopie extension which makes the learning so enjoyable too. they have to improve their AI assistant other than that it is very good.
- Sarah Haden
- Really enjoy being able to follow my favourite programs. Love the flashcard function too.
- Julian Mabee
- This extension is a very helpful tool for discovering what exists in other languages on these platforms, but lacks some very essential quality-of-life improvements. On Netflix, with this extension, there is no way to search by language and by keyword at the same time, which makes it difficult and time-consuming to find specific shows or movies in the language of your choice. The extension has a lot of potential, but definitely lacks a lot in execution that could make it a 4 or 5 star product.
- Swank The Tank
- honestly great product if you get it working, i had disney+ and lingopie and the disney+ section wouldn't work. i contacted support and they gave me a few options, but it just worked when i tried to use it again with out troubleshooting anything. so maybe you can't use some things right away.
- Clay Smith
- So far so good!
- Andy Grogan
- Perfect for learning in a REAL setting and not rote words.
- James Squire
- This is an amazing app, marred only by it requiring multiple sign-ins, which can be confusing since it isn't clear for which sign-in credentials each popup wants: Lingopie, or the streaming service? I made some educated guesses, and now can enjoy this fantastic app. I can imagine how some would be confused though - Lingopie; you've done the hard work with this amazing product. Now just make it clear what credentialing is being asked and you'll fix the 1 star reviews from confused customers.
- Shane Hendricks
- Good luck figuring out how to watch this on your TV! Confusing.
- William Kennedy
- Most fun app for learning language.
- Marilyn Bouman
- Can't log in. Can't access Netflix. Can't do much of anything.
- Luzita Varela
- Really great, fun and effective!
- Elene Nikolava
- very helpful!
- mario waring
- Honestly pretty good, the app works fine. Improvements I'd hope for would be 1. Support for unrestricted access to all Netflix movies / TV shows. 2. Integrations across other video platforms would be great. Will update here for future enhancements!
- Phillip Allen
- I really like this product. I was able to buy a lifetime subscription to the software and have used it mostly for Spanish. Its so much better polished than competitors and works as you would expect it to (which def isn't the norm in the language learning space). I especially like that they are adding more integrations with other content providers (like Disney+) and I would like to see that expand to Viki and Crunchyroll for Asian languages eventually. I am using a Macbook and Netflix mostly and have had no issues.
- Z C
- No Arabic support. Really expensive while other provide it for FREE!
- Jeremy
- Honestly been dreaming of this functionality for a long, long time. It's such a terrific service. It gets those pesky little vocab words and slang just right. Really gives me hope of last mile success at language fluency.
- Marco Albanese
- perfect
- Lauren Pacek (Lauren Pacek)
- C'est formidable. J'adore. The interactive subtitles are so useful. My French comes and goes. I watch a lot of foreign language shows/ movies with subtitles. But they speak too fast so I have to pause and then look up the new word. This combines it all into one step. Great selection of shows, too!
- stephen Givens
- Easiest way to learn ever made just watch stuff and click to make it save stuff for later to see if you remember and then repeat until you do. It's multiple choice has no grades and can be repeat until you get 100 percent. I am learning four language at once just to watching cartoons.
