- Previously worked very well and effectively but now can't choose the country, even the limited free options that were previously available are no longer available. Can no longer recommend it unless you are willing to pay for it then it is a great option. Look elsewhere for free options.

- Stopped working properly after recent changes, when only the “Fastest location” option became available in the free plan. I’ve been using this VPN for years, and we even purchased paid plans at work. Unfortunately, with these limitations, we’ll now have to look for alternatives.

- For the last month or couple months I've had times that my browser just stops working all together. It wouldn't get fixed until I restarted my computer. And sometimes that wouldn't even fix it. I finally put it together, and found out it was this extension. I found this out from some weird proxy popups. At first I thought I was getting hacked but I looked it up and saw it was TunnelBear. This is a CRITICAL flaw and I can't imagine how much frustration this is causing people. I can't think of many issues worse than an extension bricking people's browser's internet connection...

- Since last week, this extension makes the browser unusable. there's a "proxy login" prompt and the internet is basically dead for that particular browser until I turn off the extension,

- My favorite VPN, I've been using it for over 5 years, but now an unpleasant problem has arisen. The VPN itself works 95% of the time without issues. However, when I disconnect it, some websites from my region (Belarus) stop working, causing a connection error. The problem is fix by uninstalling the application. Maybe the developer can suggest if specific settings need to be applied?

- The app is a bit sus. It ask me randomly for a proxy login to an unknown IP while the extension was disabled.

- Not working lately, will shut off access to the internet as a whole if the add on is active, go to activate, tells you to log in, then you click and All access to internet on that browser is blocked till you shut it off not a one day occurrence I see several other reviews are experiencing the same issue with this add on.

- Terrible. Logged me out after one use and then caused my entire chrome to have a 407 error, as it couldn't authenticate the vpn after being logged out. Could not figure out what it was until I remembered it was a proxy error, and proxies were being controlled by tunnel bear. Would not suggest you use this VPN, especially if you wouldn't be able to figure out the solution to this error.

- There is a free and paid version of this solution. The Chrome Web Store listing (screenshots, description) is only for the paid version. At this point you still don't have any idea there are free and paid versions. Once installed, this company request you to create an account and verify your email. The free version is limited to 2GB and you can't choose a location nor server. Uninstalled it.

- Worked perfectly until 2 days ago. Now having the browser extension active for Chrome makes the browser say "can't connect to internet" even when not using the VPN. Disabling the extension fixes that, but that's useless since I still need to use the VPN at times.

- Pretty solid vpn, easy account creation and fast extension. But i think UI and website needs some improvements. Looks amateur-ish. Also dark mode feature is must have.

- The last update made it worse. Before I could enable the vpn with two fast clicks, now I have to click on the extension, wait for 5-10 seconds for the "map" to load, then I can enable the vpn. Also it's really annoying that now I have to log in every day.

- A lesson in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." And boy did they "fix" it. There was nothing wrong with the speed and usability of the UI before the recent update, now it takes forever to load and fails frequently.
