- They say it's free, it's The "Extension" is free, but you have to pay to use it after week trial is over. Typical bait and switch. Ashok Kumar created URL shortening extensions for Chrome and Firefox that use is.gd. go to is.gd click software option.

- Tim Leland has a good reputation for his URL Shortener (Chrome Extension). I liked the possibility to use several services in URL Shortener, when for some reason one goes down, to switch to another. My preferred ones are the Free - "is.gd" and "TinyURL".

- - All around GREAT plugin loved using it! worth a 5* for the couple of days I used it for. - The HUGE RED FLAG is when trial starts on it's own as soon as you create and account and you get offered to pay or lose your progress. - At least let me keep the links I have already made. Now instead of thinking if it's worth I have to search a free option and transfer all my links there and never consider or recomend this plugin.

- Only after registration is it offered to you, costs 10 euros per month, trial period ends in 4 days. I'm definitely not going to pay 10 euros for 1-3 URL shortenings per month.

- Being forced to start a premium plan in order to use the 2 links I created. Not reccomended, better bit.ly: 10 free short links every month.

- T.LY doesn't appear to allow third parties access to their system, while other services do, so this "official" T.LY extension is the only one. Just now, T.LY's site started forcing me from a barebones Free acct to a $10+/mo paid account. Forcing free users into paid plans isn't something I'll abide, so ditching this extension and service.

- Necesito saber como hago para usar la extensión! no es muy fácil encontrar dónde ingresar para usarla.Al lado del botón "Desinstalar" deberia tener otro botón que diga "ingresar" para poder entrar a la extensión. Si alguien puede explicarme como funciona se los agradezco.

- I've used this handy extension several year's ago now, and if my memory serves me correctly at that point in time the software was a 'free' offering. As my wife & I are retired & on more or less a fixed type of budget we need to set priorities on what we spend our limited income for. I was rather surprised when I quickly discovered the link shortener service is now a subscription based service.

- I've been using this extension for a few months, and I prefer it to the others. The t.ly links are very short (shorter than bit.ly, which the extension also supports). It saves to the clipboard automatically. There are occasional glitches, but they get fixed quickly.

- I use this extension within Brave and ran into an issue with it auto-copying links. Tim looked at promptly after I reported the issue and he communicated the issue. Just today once it was updated, he reached out to me to let me know that it was fixed. It was indeed fixed on the first test. it was amazing to have Tim follow up on the issue within a few weeks with the resolution. I am rational and understand that some issues cannot be resolved overnight and I appreciate that Tim followed up... it's a great extension/service and it's backed by an equally awesome developer.
