Testing the load time of your page is easy with the Chrome Developer Tools, but getting a true idea of how your page is behaving can be harder. This is especially true with dynamic content, and high server loads.
Average Load Time Tester can be used to automatically load, and re-load a page and get the average load times. No more writing down numbers and refreshing for hours!

- This is a great concept, but the addon does not refresh/test the correct page when I have two chrome windows open on two different monitors.

- Now that it seems to work again, I finally got the chance to use this. A great time saver for those doing performance testing. Only item that could improve it is a export in csv button, or some way to collect all data together with a custom comment such as "Test Run 1" or something.

- This was a really good tool, but no longer works on the latest version of chrome. Always display NAN. Please fix as it was very useful.

- Extension causes other tab processes to hang temporarily, and then the results come back NaN. Seems like it needs a lot of work.

- It worked well for my tests. I was able to reload a particular URL 1000 times in just a few minutes then make a php change and load it another 1000 times to compare results. It outputs the full test data in a table. It would be nice if you could export the data but since it is an HTML table I was able to easily copy all the data and paste into an excel sheet for comparing results and running in some simple graphs. I would like to run larger batches for more accurate results as bigger sample sizes will help account for anomalies due to network traffic. 10,000 tests at an average of 1 second per cycle will take nearly 3 hours. Unfortunately it isn't possible to do anything else on the same computer the test is running on. I either have to wait for the test to finish or use another computer to run my tests while I work on my primary computer. However, that is a pretty minor complaint in the grand scheme of things. Manually running 10k page loads is not remotely possible.

- It doesn't allow you to enter the URL of the page you want to test, nor does it display this in the results. If you are testing many pages, it's difficult to keep track of which page has been tested. Also, assuming the page being tested is the one currently displayed in the browser, the figures are out quite a bit. The page I'm testing is currently taking 8s to load, but this tool reports back as just over 1s per page. Is it testing a different page, or is it inaccurate?
