- I’m a gaming content creator focused on reviews and walkthroughs, and a big part of my workflow involves watching trailers, dev interviews, and gameplay analysis from creators around the world — especially Chinese and Japanese channels that often cover games much earlier than Western media. The language barrier has always been a huge problem. YouTube’s auto captions are unreliable for gaming content, and waiting for fan translations usually means you’re already late to the discussion. Felo Subtitles changed that completely. I can now turn it on and get real-time English subtitles while watching Chinese or Japanese videos, and it’s surprisingly usable. It handles gaming-related terminology much better than I expected — things like gacha systems, patch notes, tier lists, and boss mechanics are translated in a way that actually makes sense. I’ve also been using it to watch Bilibili content and developer streams where there are no English subtitles at all. It’s made researching and scripting videos significantly faster, since I no longer have to pause constantly just to understand what’s being said. It’s not perfect, but it’s one of the few tools that genuinely works in real scenarios. At this point, it’s become a regular part of my workflow. If you’re a content creator who relies on international sources, this is definitely worth trying.

- Around 1 week ago, the extension is not working properly, I keep recieving "Subtitle service initialization failed. Please reopen Felo Subtitle Extension (Token_Empty)". I re-installed Chrome, cleaned my browser data, temp files on my pc, I even tried the Windows app and I keep recieving the same error, no matter the account, and I do have minutes available on my account. So, you can't count right now on this extension since it lets you down, ALSO, it takes A LOT OF TIME to start the service but this is recent because 1 week ago I was not having any of this issues.

- Does not work well with Dutch. The subtitles are much delayed and are not accurate. The text keeps changing so much that it is impossible to follow.

- Its good SOMETIMES! but other times it stops working, and the PRICEEEE its tooooo high for what it offers, should be way less, i would pay 30 a month for unlimited minutes, but paying 10 usd for 100 thats insane, not even 2 hours

- Weird UI on Twitch. UI changes by itself when on YouTube. Subtitle Color didn't even change accordingly. It remained gray no matter what color i chose. OH MY DAYS! I cannot believe anyone would pay money to use something horrible like this... Uninstalled within the first few minutes after all I got a translation that said "This". It didnt work and yet the timer kept counting down. Lost my respect for you.

- the translation is great and has good speed but there is a problem with the auto-scroll, everytime i press the auto-scroll button it stays working and auto scrolls for like 6 seconds and then it breaks and i have to manually scroll down to the bottom again or press the button again, which is highly inconvenient.

- This is extremely helpful when watching foreign videos and livestreams. I just wish that there is an option to set the captions to be displayed at the bottom, and more clear distinction between the two languages subtitles(customization maybe). Keep it up!!!
