Description from store ***This extension only works in Chrome*** This extension allows you to download full resolution stills from YouTube, Netflix, Vimeo, Amazon Prime, and videos on most other websites without seeing the player controls or the surrounding webpage. Once installed, click on the extension button in the top right of Chrome to choose which sites Video Screenshot will appear on. The extension starts with only YouTube, Netflix, Vimeo, Amazon and Hulu activated. When a video begins to play, you'll see a camera icon appear alongside the normal player controls. Each time you click the camera button or a keyboard shortcut of your choosing, a screenshot is created of the video from its current frame. The screenshot is then either saved in your downloads folder as a JPG or PNG, or copied to your clipboard. There are additional options such as reporting an issue with the extension and donating to the developer. Since this extension is reliant on other websites, it will need to be updated periodically as those websites evolve. (2025-07-11) Tammy Nicholson: It stopped working today. I removed from chrome and readded the extenstion. Also restarted the pc. The camera icon isn't even showing on videos.

(2025-07-03) Sam Drummond: This app used to perform its function. Now it is unable to capture film stills on Amazon. The screenshots will be covered by the video player UI. Unfortunatley time to use a different plugin.

(2025-06-23) bunnylizard: Used to work perfectly every time, but occasionally it won't capture the picture of the movie/tv properly, it'll have the video streaming UI shown as well. Granted, this is likely not an issue with the extension itself but the idiotic different streaming service video players.... Disney+, I am looking at you.

(2025-06-02) Kiznel: Update: Unfortunately, it recently stopped working for Disney+, so if you're looking for a screenshot service for Disney+, you should look elsewhere for now. Amazing plugin that works pretty much flawlessly in almost every streaming service! Only downside is that the Screenshot button doesn't show up when viewing the default player, but you can just press ALT+P to screenshot that frame instead.

I have tried looking if there was a add on for a screenshot button for dailymotion. But there was LITERALLY none.

I have installed it successfully, but there no camera to click on ANYWHERE on the screen (as installation instructions says there will be). Nothing listed when I click on the 3 dots (it IS listed when I click on "manage extensions", but it does not appear anywhere else).

(2024-11-27) Andrei C: This application is great the only problem is that it pops up a save as window that's asking you to confirm that the file name it is giving is what you want and you have to click save This interrupts the process of watching I'm not sure if its possible to work around this to avoid this maybe there is no way the way chrome extensions security functions that the user must agree compress save for saving a file to the file system but hopefully there can be a work around one day Thank you so much for this wonderful extension

(2024-09-16) Jaime Skelton: Essential tool for my team. Simple install, simple to use, beautifully clean screenshots. Only one issue I encounter: some Facebook videos and reels do not seem to cooperate with the extension.
