• (2023-09-22) Neal Gelderman: This is a great extension for Salesforce, however, there does appear to one major flaw If you use the "Show All Data" for a Case record and make an update via Inspector it will save it with the save option that puts the Case thought the assignment rules again which results in an Owner change you most likely did not want to change. It also would be great if the Export Data feature were updated to support up to 100K SOQL queries which is the current size limit enforced by Salesforce

On Chrome, go to Settings > More Tools > Clear Browsing Data. I have removed cookies and cache for All Time and that has resolved the issues for me.

  Salesforce changed Salesforce Flows, for example when you edit the start element then it now shows on the right. To close the Start Element there is an X at the top right of the screen now instead. That is exactly the spot where the Salesforce Inspector hovers over that x making it impossible to click the X. Please adjust it so it shows a bit lower or make the positional adjustable by user settings. For the rest, it is an awesome plugin. Thank you.

  i had an idea to add an app navigation feature. basically you can have new tab for all apps, and favorite apps, and when you click on one, lets say for example we have an app called 'Admin Lightning', with a developer name of 'Admin_Lightning', then clicking it would open .../lightning/app/c__Admin_Lightning which would open that app, and have either a checkbox or a seperate button to open your current page in said app. for example, if you are on lightning/r/Contact/0032M00002abcdefg/view, and you want to view that in the admin lightning app, then clicking the open in current page would open that page in /lightning/app/c__Admin_Lightning/r/Contact/0032M00002abcdefg/view which would allow us to change view easier especially if you are a dev and are constantly going to different apps or want to view records in different apps constantly.

  How do we control access to this plugin? We need to ability to prevent users from making any edits or exporting/importing data via the Salesforce Inspector tool. We can control other export access via permissions (like Export Reports) or via connected app (like Dataloader & Workbench), but I haven't been able to figure out how to stop export access in this tool. Also, this tool removes the ability for us to control certain field edit privileges at the page layout level (for example, users should be able to edit a field on one record type, but not access the field on another record type).   Hello, and I hope you are doing well. First, thank you for creating this tool. I have installed the extension to Chrome, but the extension is grayed out when I'm in my sandbox org. My colleague uses the extension for the same sandbox, and advised I do so as well. I've googled some troubleshoots--for instance, a lot of people found that un-installing and re-installing the extension mitigated the same issue (issue = menu not appearing / being grayed out). I tried the same, and it had no effect. I've also tried restarting my pc, but am returning to the same issue. I've checked for updates, and my system says everything is already up-to-date. I'm reaching out because I'm not sure what to try next, and am hoping you have some tips and tricks up your sleeve. Thank you for your time, and for this tool. I look forward to your response.
