- This works 95% of the time, and when it works, everything is smooth. Keeps me on track and my records clean. Saves me a lot of time.
- Andy Keelan
- Could be awesome and really useful for linking emails to contacts amongst other things, but after the latest update it continually causes gmail to freeze for a number of our company users leading to many uninstalling it. Please fix!
- Lamar Shambley
- There are lots of errors in this extension. Please update and fix soon.
- Emil Hillung
- Was working ok previously but past weeks it constantly caches in gmail making it more or less useless. Not good that such a big problem reported by so many of a crucial function not getting fixed.
- Mario Krawetzke
- It was already bad before the update, but afterwards, it's almost destroyed. From time to time it works, but most of the time it shows wrong url error 404. So sad. 1 Star is to much PLEASE ROLLBACK, we need an extension which works!!!
- Vincent Laurenzo

- great way to link email correspondence to accounts, appreciate the option to include attachments (or not)
- Taylor Holladay
- Doesn't work with the new update. Constant errors and will not log an email anymore.
- Becky Raymond
- It seems as if this extension is broken. It was working but recently it began throwing errors when associating an email with a record. Either it just can't associate it, or it claims there is a picklist value problem on a restricted picklist. There have been no changes to the picklists. It's not hitting any validation rules or something that would trigger such an error it just seems to take issue with my custom picklists.
- Danilo Da Silva Mariano
- Very frustrating experience and constantly broken when linked to GMail. Trying to log when sending is a bit of a nightmare and that needs fixing - you never really know which email the extension is refering to.
- Tia Phang
- Does the job but is extremely slow to load and sync. Would be great if we could log emails to multiple providers, not just one.
- Ronan Fitzgerald
- Very frustrating as our users relied on this to log Gmail activity and as of last week they started running into various errors that completely interrupted their workflows. Hopefully these issues are resolved or details on workarounds are made known.
- Chris Lawrenson
- Some people in our company get an "Invalid URL" error message when they try to install this extension. Some get have no issues whatsoever. Clearing out cache doesn't help. Seems to have become an issue with the most recent update. Frustrating because we rely on this.
- Jake Zimmerman
- Currently broken and just pops up nonstop errors. Please fix.
- A. Mark Mento
- It's amazing how bad this plugin is. The best you can hope for is that email logging works 60% of the time, with the other 40% being error messages and attempts to log to the wrong contacts. Days like today it pretty much doesn't work at all. SF should hire a usability team at some point. (Or if they have one, they should go get a NEW one).

- Case owner changing via assignment rule again writing email
- Ajay Joji

- plugin does not work since days and i get the following error messages This page has an error. You might just need to refresh it. First, would you give us some details? (We're reporting this as error ID: -1034929770) Failed to get item details from provider : caught An internal server error has occurred Error ID: 1042831516-50624 (-1034929770) Is there a fix on the near roadmap?
- Natalee Benzing

- Max G
- Still can't log emails. extension is a joke. getting this error every time: This page has an error. You might just need to refresh it. [Item context map must be passed] Failing descriptor: {markup://clients:contextLibraryLwc}
- Colleen F
- Really cannot believe they haven't fixed the bug.
- Laura Futschik
- I love the functionality, but it hasn’t been working properly since the last updates. I’m no longer able to log my emails reliably.
- Peter Hansen
- Frequently has outages and no clear place for reporting these.
- Jeremy Moreno
- It is working really bad, and the new side panel actually sucks, never works properly and have to re load the page over and over.
- Radek Lamac
- It really sucks lately and is not dependant at all, same as Salesfoce, trying to charge you for literalyl everything and when the counts does not hit their targets they charge you for data limits etc etc , just using the power. Systems are good, however I would today definitely chose some other providers, just to try a dn give the chance to others.
- Nat Sullivan
- Was great, and then the new update came in and really doesn't work well for email sync (it's good for calendar sync) and now my email won't even connect at all. I just get error after error everytime. Example: "Failed to get item details from provider : caught An internal server error has occurred Error ID: 730438094-339782 (-1034929770)" It makes this unusable for email sync :(
- Federico López Myslicki
- Used to be great, most recent update broke it and is completely worthless now.
- Dominic Watts
- This Google add-one literally does what it says on the description, it enables selling where I'm working and saves a lot of time.
- Fernando Garza
- The version prior to the update was 100 times better. The new version continues to crash and has major glitches
- Jake Gutierrez
- Works great when it works. After the latest update, we have intermittent errors and sometimes users will have to go back into their sent email multiple times and click to log the email again. A frustrating, time-consuming experience. this is a common error --> "Error in $A.getCallback() [Cannot read properties of null (reading 'context')] Failing descriptor: {markup://clients:contextualEmailEventHome}" We've followed all the instructions spit out by the AI support agent to no avail.
- Justus Seibt
- Possible solution to fix the non working plugin: In Salesforce => User Profile => Advanced User Details => revoke every "google - Lightning For Gmail" connection under the "Third-Party Account Links" category. This forces the user to re-link their google account to the salesforce plugin. Afterwards, the plugin worked again for the users in our organization.
- Brian Rodriguez
- This extension has not been working at all, and it has really messed up my workflow. I can no longer associate emails with Salesforce records. This has really presented problems for my business. I hope Salesforce gets this figured out very soon.
- Raleigh Welch
- New update broke a functioning extension. It also seems to have removed the ability to click links to records from the email, which is pretty core to our workflow.
- Barrie Roberts
- The extension hasn't been working since Monday (6/10/25). When the extension is opened it shows this error message: "This page has an error. You might just need to refresh it. First, would you give us some details? (We're reporting this as error ID: -1034929770)". Over the weekend our org was updated to Winter 26, has this caused an issue? Our sales staff haven't been able to register any emails (Gmail) on our org.
- Rachel Papert
- Only works if you allow third party cookies which Chrome blocks.
- Arnaud Jeuland
- Awesome add-on, except for the part where it didn’t work for a few weeks. I cleared my cache and it’s working again.
- Sasha Hart
- Constantly getting "Error in $A.getCallback() [Cannot read properties of null (reading 'context')] Failing descriptor: {markup://clients:contextualEmailEventHome}". Please fix asap!
- Peter Steiner
- the new version is horrible, does not work properly and steales my time. Old version was great. Salesforce please fix/update the new version asap.
- Tom Clark
- Same. I thought I was going crazy and wasted many hours troubleshooting before I found this page. This feature is totally business-critical - my company is virtual and my team is scattered throughout the world. Salesforce please listen and resolve this as soon as possible; otherwise I will be seeking compensation.
- Leon Beckett
- Old version worked great, especially as I use Gmail and Google Calendar as an "App" on my Mac (URL -> Chrome Options -> Cast, Save and Share -> Install Page as App) to easily switch back and forth between my other applications, email and calendar. The new version, however, simply doesn't open or work in the "App" experience, meaning my productivity and way of working has plummeted. Please look into how you get the extension to work in the "App" experience!
- Sarah Owens
- Gmail extension was fine, but I was forced to update to this one that has errors 90% of the time.
- Ali Assaf
