  • (2024-09-24) Sylvain Combe: Very nice extension, very useful. It breaks on long email threads though (page unresponsive), which is very impractical (I need to deactivate the extension just to read these emails).
  • (2024-03-08) Jim Marascio: When it works, which is most of the time, it's perfect. Error messages occasionally present while drafting emails. And sometimes the load time to log emails is very slow. But overall, it's a good product. I wouldn't want to work without it.

  • (2023-11-14) Malcolm Mead: It's great. You install it as a plugin and it creates a little side window that collapses out of view easily. When you finish an email, you can go to the window and it has already found the associated people in your SFDC records, as well as associated Opportunities. You check boxes on which ones you want to associate this email to, and it updates everything in the background. You can check your tasks, look up records, and it even has an auto-update reminder feature - so you can keep the "side-car window" closed, and it will just pop up a more centralized form that shows you who will be associated if you want and which opportunities - again with full control and checkboxes. The "bonkiest" part of it is when it times out (usually overnight) because SFDC has logged you out. The little window shows a red-X so you know, and all you have to do is click the plugin icon in the upper right and re-login, or (if you've logged in already directly to SFDC) just hard reload the page and pow, it's working again. Good little widget that packs a very powerful punch. I am a tech and hate bad code ... this is not bad code.

  • (2023-10-22) Edmund Villasis: Our team recently experienced similar issue reported today of a javascript error when sending out an email on Gmail. The pop-up box doesn't come up anymore and instead turns the screen grey / Gmail is frozen. One can refresh the browser to reload Gmail; the email is still sent out but it is not logged into Salesforce. In another case, if one is logged into the extension and follows the prompt on the right side of the screen to 'Log Email On Send'>Save, then there is no issue. (My system info: <macOS Sonoma 14.0>; <Google Chrome Version 118.0.5993.88 (Official Build) (x86_64)>; <Salesforce Chrome Extension version 2.246.1> ***edit***as at 23 October 2023 ***changed the star rating from 2 to 5 stars. The issue has been resolved. The email logging function is back and no more freezing issue.

  • (2023-10-19) Dylan Melling: I've loved using this extension for a while, but since the last update on 10/19/2023 on a Windows device the framing on the pop up box to log is WAY off. I can only give it 2 stars as this framing issue makes it very hard for me to use the extension. Would increase my rating if it's fixed.

  • (2023-10-18) Shawn Hoffman: I've used this for quite a while and though it's not 'perfect' and doesn't have all the options one might want. That said, it's a huge time saver in terms of logging emails to SF from Gmail and the ability to change accounts and log it to a different one afterward is very useful. As of 10/18/23, I've noticed an issue that the pop-up screen to remind you to log an email is no longer centered on the screen -- it appears off screen and cannot be accessed, so your only option is to hit 'esc'. This renders that feature more or less useless, so I hope that gets fixed soon!

WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING? and docs say this is dependent on enabling the google integration, which also makes zero sense. trying to test out the new 'workspace' stuff in w24, no luck so far. was able to auth sandbox by selecting custom domain on login and using mydomain.sandbox as the custom domain, but the app makes me login all the time, and workspace isnt working at all.

  • (2023-08-30) Kat Guenther: Have loved having the ability to use my business gmail account and still be able to log my emails under my clients' accounts without having to duplicate my steps in each platform. It has also saved me a couple of times when I need to quickly look up a client's account information when they call me. Once I've pulled up their account, I can click the button in the upper right hand corner to open that specific account in a new tab and review my recent notes. I do wish I could add/log a call from a client within the integration. I have noticed some of the clunkiness that the other reviews have mentioned. When I notice the integration not logging my emails, I refresh my webpage and it resolves the issue. I do the same thing when the integration side window doesn't come up when first accessing my email account. Overall, a great timesaver! Nothing is perfect, but hopefully SF will read these reviews and can readjust their coding and include more features.

  • (2023-08-14) Justin Stone: This extension is a great tool to have, and is very needed in organizations that use Google Workspace and SalesForce together. Unfortunately, the tool itself is a little slow and/or does not work a lot of the time, leaving me (and my colleagues) to manually go back into our sent items and log emails that should have been logged on send. I don't mind that the pop-up comes up to log an email every time, as clients may have more than one account, so it is good to make sure communications are getting logged to the correct account for the client, but I would prefer it if it always worked. There's no reason I can see for it to randomly decide not to work part of the time, either, as I usually have Salesforce and Gmail both open and logged in at the same time; nothing has timed out that I can see; and my internet is a good , high-speed connection. I think if the coding for the tool gets cleaned up a bit and it starts working much more reliably, this would be the go-to solution for integration between Salesforce and Google for many to most users. Right now, it still feels like a beta or a minimum viable product that has not yet been brought up to its full potential.

  • (2023-08-10) Adam Pomson: as many other comments state; please invest some proper QA here it logs out all the time and if you are not running SF in another browser tab it fails to work why cant it allow for sign in indepently it also is not good at picking up email contacts all the time, often fails to identify mind boggles why an org such as SF cant invest in this this is why so many 3rd party tools exist to fix SF
  • (2023-08-09) Vasanth Balakrishnan: It is absolutely essential to log activity in SFDC from your GSuite calendar activities, but it is clunky, unintuitive, slow and very annoying with timeouts/logouts. A necessary tool that could be so much better.

It's 2023, my computer is fast, this extension can be too slow sometimes finding a lead and/or updating the record. Bad: doesn't let you log emails sent from aliases under the same (parent) account; needs better integration with Gmail Multi-Send for campaigns and mass emails.
